My wife and I are in the market for a new sectional. We had set aside a Sunday afternoon to visit several local stores to begin our search, and stopped at Raymour & Flanigan as the second of our visits.
I should preface this with the fact that I had had a negative experience at a different R&F store several years ago, and my wife had a very negative opinion of the company, to the point where she didn't even want to go there. We did, however, as it's the largest showroom in our town and it was convenient, but we went in with little to no expectations.
We couldn't have been more wrong.
Upon entry, we were promptly greeted by Tatiana, who guided us to a sectional and let us know where others were located in the showroom. She briefly explained the fact that most items could be custom ordered in many colors and fabrics, and if we had any questions to ask. She then left us to wander the store on our own.
While Tatiana was never far away, she did not speak to us or in any way pressure us unless we went to her with a question. She had quick answers to our questions and was very informative regarding our options. She didn't try to upsell us on anything and was patient with our process. When we found a piece that we liked, she took the time to explain all of our options regarding financing, ordering, etc.
At this point we let her know that we wanted to stop by a couple other stores to finish our comparisons. Instead of using pressure techniques such as "what do I have to do to get you to buy today", she simply wished us luck, mentioned that she hoped we would be back but if we didn't return she hoped we found the piece that was right for us. This was VERY refreshing, and we knew that we would likely be returning.
As it was about and hour and a half before the store closed, she gave us her cell number and asked us text her if we were going to come back so that she could be there for us, even if it was a few minutes after the doors closed.
We did not find a better piece (or deal) at other stores and returned, at which time Tatiana had already worked with her manager to get us a bit better price. She walked us through the purchase process and was very helpful with finalizing the sale. While we have not yet received our furniture (a couple of pieces of the sectional were out of stock, and that is the reason this is not a five star review), we have been very satisfied with the service to this point and will return to Raymour & Flanigan for future...

Unbeknownst to me their so-called team were not going to be in the apartment when I came back upstairs I had gone to The bank to get cash for a tip however they were downstairs when I returned so I gladly gave them a tip they were leaving however I never signed off on anything and when I returned to the apartment I learned that it was the wrong color /couch immediately I called The movers cell phone that we had been conversing with the whole while up until I called them to say they sent the wrong couch however no one picked up after 8 tries so the following morning I went down to Raymour and Flanigan and I spoke with the so-called manager he was very nasty speaking very loudly to me and saying that he knew before I even told him that it was the wrong couch because somebody put the wrong SKU number in well I said why didn't you tell call them and tell them that the right the wrong number had been put in if you knew so much I told him you can give me the floor model that's what I ordered he wouldn't do that ! Told him I would drop the furniture off in front of the store it's not something that I paid for ! this is supposed to be a Christmas gift they didn't even know when the couch would be delivered stating that the couch is out of stock! I am waiting still correct couch they're taking items that they can't sell from the warehouse and dumping them on paying customers !!! This was supposed to be a black couch to match the black white and gray rug you see in the picture! I will add to the post the managers name can't think of his name right now he was just that sorry! And Sasha the sales lady who was conveniently not there the day I went! Everybody's professional liars there just want commission!
And furthermore Raymour and Flanigan had a nerve to send me a photo of the couch that I did order along with the price! Stating it would be delivered sometime in January 2022 I won't give them another dime they will pick this one up that I never sign for it take it back to the...
Read moreThe experience that we had from the start was disappointing. The sales associate left us for an hour and half in the middle of placing our order. We sat there until another associate and the manager made repeated attempts to get him. Mike finished our $6k purchase. We got the bedroom set on the date scheduled with no issues. We were so satisfied with the quality that we went back for a bookcase. We spoke to an associate who suggested that we wait for the associate from the original order because he would know how to assist us best. We left after an hour of walking around with no help, and placed an order elsewhere. The biggest issue was that we were informed at the time of purchase on July 30th that our sofa, love seat, and tables, and coffee table were on back order. We were told it should come the third week of August. As the third week of August approached, we called for an update. The items were still out of stock but we were reassured that they should be available the last week of August, or the beginning of September. We called on August 26th and were informed that the information had changed and we were looking at a delivery for the end of September. What's disappointing is that there was never a time that Raymour and Flanigan called to tell us that there was a change. The lady said they wouldn't know about delivery dates unless they checked on that individual order. It leads me to believe that no one is monitoring back orders and it's on you to stay informed. Now, the only plus of this terrible experience would be the Manager Mike. Mike personally looked into the issue, called me back numerous times, and offered different scenarios and estimates.
