I can't say enough good things about these folks. I have been ordering rods, reels & tackle from them for years and there has never been an issue.

I have been so pleased with them that I actually made the 4.5 hour drive one day to meet them and purchase a new St. Croix legend extreme rod. I left there with a G-Loomis nrx+ instead per their recommendation & let me tell you that rod is nuts!!! 15-30 # class that is smoking 46-60 lbs fish all day long yet more sensitive that all my 12-20# class (not cheap ones) rods .

I have ordered reels from them asked to be spooled and top shot & had them the next day at my door... swear to God!! They have stopped me from purchasing gear that wasn't quote what I needed and they have always been correct in doing so. Sometimes even saving me $. These folks are Rockstars in the world of getting you what you need,...

Convenient location, but disappointing service. I visited the store looking for a fishing rod for my son. I'm not a fisherman, so I really needed some guidance. Unfortunately, I waited over 20 minutes just to get some assistance. The employee talked me into buying a pricier freshwater rod, emphasizing its "better warranty." However, the rod snapped on my very first day using it. When I returned for a replacement (even though they had one in stock) they made us wait for a replacement...it took two weeks to arrive, and then they charged an additional $30 "warranty fee", which felt completely unfair considering I had returned the broken rod within 48 hours of its purchase. Lost 2+ weeks of prime fishing this summer. Overall, a frustrating experience. I'll definitely be taking my business to Bass Pro Shops, which offers far superior customer service...

The store was nice and had a pretty awesome selection. My issue was with the kid that worked there. I went in to buy bait,tackle, and ask for a local spot to fish since I'm from out of state. The kid recommends a spot roughly 40 min away with traffic and when I arrive the place was trying to charge $35 to park. If he told me about the parking fee upfront I wouldn't have wasted time driving. Not sure if he was sending me far away to protect his local spots from having people but I wouldn't trust him again. At the end of the day the locals were more helpful then the bait shop at suggesting a spot so I'll just bring bait from RI next time and skip the trip...
