The Restaurant on the corner of Water and Washington streets is a the perfect final stop for a time well spent where the good vibes flow! Jean has expanded her footprint to the delight of those who have joined the swelling ranks in the wool addicted as well as those who have suffered through the night attempting to think their way through a pile of yarn knitted by the cat.

She’s the crochet goddess of the street, who has the patience of a saint with an avid knitter who thinks my way around challenges… either successfully or disastrously, having learned the best lesson from Jean… when the project starts to take on a serious detour not resembling a person. Everything about this store is beautiful! The yarn colors are fantastic, and there are so many cute gift and home options. The inventory is totally unique amongst all the specialty stores in the area, with many handmade items by Jean, who is welcoming and kind. I came in for a gift, but the store makes me want to pick up crochet. I pictured some of my favorite sections.
