Miniso — Local services in Norwood Park Township

I visited this store because it showed up on a Facebook reel and my daughter is into these cute saniro items. We happened to be in the area and visited the store because I'm from out of state and we don't have stores like these. My first thought was the store is cute. The lighting is very bright and isles are very narrow. My daughter bought a couple of items and my husband bought my 5 year old son a Miniso leggo car. We then went to a toy store within the mall and my son decided he did not want that toy anymore from Miniso. My husband went back to Miniso to return the toy and the employee took the box and opened it up and there was no toy in there. There was only wrappers, sticker backing, and the instructions on how to put the car together. The employee did not want to do the return and was being rude to him and then she went to get her manager to let her know what's going on. When the manager got there she didn't speak english, so the rude employee had to translate to the manager. The manager looked as us like we did steal this 12 dollars toy. They did end up refunding us and told us it will be about 48 hours for us to get our refund. My husband came back and told me what happened and said they took back the receipt. So, I went back to get the receipt, but they won't give it back to me and had me take a picture of it. Which is fine, and we'll see if we get the refund. What makes me upset is the fact that when I went back to get the receipt they looked at us like we stole the toy and said that they had no phone number. I found it funny to find a review that another customer was able to call them. Beware when shopping there to check receipts and boxes.

My experience at this location in particular was amazing. The store was very clean and organized and I had 0 issue maneuvering the store. I was instantly greeted at the entrance and was asked if I needed help with anything. The sales associate Talia was very kind and helpful in assisting me with what I was looking for. While the location did not have the exact item I was hoping to find, they showed me items that were very similar to which I ended up purchasing. During the purchase, they also assisted me in signing up for the rewards program that the store offers and gave me very helpful and insightful information regarding the program and the benefits of joining. I am usually never inclined to make a review regarding my experiences at locations I visit but this was one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had. Keep up the great work Talia and...

I’ve been to the Miniso in schaumburg and that store is bigger yet the selection is limited. This one has quite the verity and items the other store didn’t have. It’s downside is that it is smaller and it’s a bit cramped, regardless it’s definitely has a lot more to offer! The display cases are extremely impressive (way better than the one in Schaumburg).
