Torrid — Local services in Norwood Park Township

Just went in to return some bralettes I didn't like. Apparently they changed the store policy 3 months without changing their receipt paper, and now it's "at their discretion" to not take back what they don't want to take back. Kicking myself for not getting the store managers name, but she was a tall African American woman. I was annoyed, then she was talking back to me. It hit me after I left how stupid her reason was. "I can't resell these!!!" Why? "Did you try them on??" My response was yes one of them but they were not worn. So you're telling me you can't try on bralettes in your store otherwise they are trash and not sellable? If you're going to have bogus store policies, at least know your verbiage so you don't sound like a complete utter idiot.

Please note: her coworker was very sweet and apologetic. Nice job! Also, randhurst honored that no one told me at the time of purchase they were not refundable, the receipt didn't say so, and online only says lingerie sets are not refundable. They were wonderfully accommodating!!! Thank you!

The last time I went in last year to return a bikini top, they wouldn't take it back because I paid with PayPal. Seriously? This store is hurting...

I am trying to get back into shopping at Torrid but will probably not come back to THIS location. I had come in yesterday to exchange some items and return a shirt. The black lady that has the hair covering her eye, always acts like she has a damn attitude or like you are bothering her. I didnt know one of my shirts was clearance and she talking about what she gonna do this one time. Then, I exchanged my leggings and the other young lady didn't charge me correctly and the other lady had to let her. But when I got ready to leave, I heard the Black lady say something under her breath to the other young lady. I know of at least 2 times I have been to this store and got a chance to encounter the Black lady...she has a very nasty attitude, not sure if she doesnt want to be there or she is just too busy to be inviting. Very pricey and didn’t feel welcome. As I was leaving the store with my husband and baby in her stroller one of the workers wanted to see my baby. She said “can i see?”. I didn’t think of anything at the moment but as me and my husband were exciting the store we had a feeling they thought we were stealing. I wish I never showed her my baby. We were looking but didn’t find anything because of the high prices wasn’t worth it for this store. Went to Kohls instead and found better deals. You guys are so scared of theft but you guys are the thieves. Maybe because me and my husband are hispanic that’s why they wanted to see the inside of my stroller. My baby had been sleeping thats why she was covered by the way! We both work hard for our stuff we are not thieves. Hopefully no one goes through what we went through. Can’t even sleep...
