So apparently some senior-citizens who are cashiers don't pay attention to fact they need to manually put in tge discounts for certain things, and if you don't question and call them out on it, they charge full regular price thinking you won't know, and they don't want to be bothered with doing the cashier job right. This is unacceptable and stealing a customer's money by over charging at check out because the senior citizen cashier in this case it was a guy, didn't either know how to, or just doesn't want to be bothered with making sure the % and discount or sales are put in correctly. The employees on the floor are good, friendly and stop to help customers and that makes a difference and helps people, especially with a Service Dog that just wants to get in and out, and it's much appreciative. Unfriendly Senior Citizens at Cashier or putting stock up at front can learn from the employees who do the other stuff, because it sends a clear message that you can't be bothered to help a customer and makes people think twice about coming back. Especially if your buddy senior at cashier won't ring up a customer correctly and over charge because they were to tired and lazy to add in the discounts. Got there about 10 to get a picture put in a frame had a person tell me that the young man that did frames will not be in till. I left and came back about 11:45 still did not get waited on until around 12:45 1 p.m the person that waited on me had me leave my frame picture and everything. The person that do the work. With the frames did not even know that my work that the gentleman had took for me he did not even know that I was coming back to pick it up because he was not tolld. I had to let him know my frame and picture was sitting on the counter waiting on him to do it because the person that took it from me did not even tell him that when he came to work so that mean the man went out to lunch ignored me I was sitting there looking stupid waiting on my work till around 2 p.m. I am 69 years old I was so tired of standing around in that store and sitting around waiting it's a shame that when you spend your money people do not appreciate it I'm done with hobby lobby in Novi this is my second are the same work did the man that do pictures is an awesome person and those...

My husband literally helped build the inside of the store and was one of the first people to get to pick which position he would like within the store. I wish he hadn’t picked framing because there’s nothing but a shallow team of people working there in upper management. They wanted him to do large number calculations in his head when there was a calculator openly available. Because he didn’t laugh at the district framing managers jokes. He was promptly removed from that department. His hours were cut in half and he had to leave for a broken promise. All the work he did getting that place set up and the people who received management roles were the ones who worked the least. Usually dragging their feet along the way. The store manager at the time instead of cutting his hours could’ve offered him a position and one of the other department full-time which is what he was fighting for when he went to work there. I wouldn’t recommend this particular location since they only promote friends of family who have barely been in the company...
