Returned to Novi Kohl’s and purchased beautiful Red Food Network 5-qt. Enameled Cast-Iron Dutch Oven. Oven was on sale plus used active coupons and saved approximately fifty dollars. Made homemade chili on stovetop with oven. Oh my goodness…Food Network has always been a symbol of excellence. Dutch Oven a cooks delight for sure. Kohl’s made it possible…Thank you.

Read moreStood in line at their "Holiday Center" to return items after Christmas...returned clothes there, but then directed to go to Jewelry counter to return a necklace. Two of us stood waiting for a while until an Associate named Shelby saw us waiting and came to help. She asked who was first which was an older woman in front of me so I let her know that she was first. While taking care of her, another associate (whose name I didn't get NO NAMETAG) walks over with a random customer who had a robe (not jewelry) and attempted to make an even exchange on the same computer that Shelby was using. Here is where the problem arises - I waited not in one but two lines to be taken care of Shelby allowed this other associate to process this other ladies return BEFORE me when she knew I was next in line. When I brought it to her attention, though saying she was saying sorry she was trying to be helpful, she got a bad attitude and became rude with me because I was frustrated (and told her about it) that she allowed this to occur. To make matters worse, it wasn't even a quick transaction! All I had tondo was return and get money back on my card.
Ma'am why couldn't that other lady wait in line like everyone else? She could have been taken care of right after me. Also, she had a ROBE and I was at the jewlery counter. Why didn't she gone to the Holiday Center as I had to make an exchange? What made her more special of a customer than I? Oh wait...was it that she was Caucasian? Read moreI've been shopping at Kohl's for years but after the attitude I just received from the woman at the return desk I don't think I'll be back. After spending over $200 earlier today I realized I had forgotten my Kohl's cash at home. I was told at the register I could bring it back and they would honor it. So after making the trip all the way back to the store the lady at the "customer service" desk very rudely told me it was one day past the expiration and she would not honor it. The biggest insult was her tone of voice and her attitude about it. She actually seemed to be HAPPY to tell me I couldn't use it. In fact upon seeing it when I placed it on the counter she very coldly said to me "what am I supposed to do with that?" Even worse I got the impression that this person was a manager of some sort. If this is the type of attitude I'm going to get from the people who are supposed to be setting the tone of how the place is run I will not be back. A little understanding and a friendly tone of voice can go a long way, especially after I'd spent several hundred dollars there today and was merely trying to save $10 on my purchase.
