This pharmacy used to be good when they had workers that were enthusiastic and greeted you when you came in or when you picked up your medicine. And I only say this so the pharmacy can do something about it because the workers that are working right now in the CVS pharmacy are incompetent. The doctor prescribed me the wrong antibiotics and being horribly sick. They added another issue on top of everything else that I was already feeling. Just trying to pick up antibiotics to get well. My insurance didn’t give me a card yet, but they provided me with a number that I could use but the CVS pharmacy front desk people told me that they can’t use those numbers alone and they needed more information that they needed the card. My insurance was closed because it was Saturday and Sunday and I needed the antibiotics for me and my children. I had to pay out-of-pocket they didn’t tell me to save the receipt so when I try to get the receipt the next day, they wouldn’t give it to me because I had to remember how much I paid and they had to look through the system and they made it such a big deal like it was such a chore. It’s funny how they don’t have a simpler way to giving you a receipt or to look up your information or what medication you had purchased. They said that they could try to reimburse me and now they’re telling me that I needed the receipt and they wouldn’t even even told me I need the receipt if I didn’t ask them myself to give me a receipt so now I had to go looking in my garbage can to find a receipt to try to get a reimbursement which I don’t even know if I’ll be able to get but I only that they made me pay double because the doctor prescribed me the wrong medicine I had to not only pay for the wrong medicine. I didn’t get any money back and now I had to pay for the right medicine so I had to pay double times for something that was not my fault and they were not understanding. All they want is to get paid. Where is the customer service? Where is the care? It was just so cold and transactional and then the front desk person in the CVS pharmacy was so cold no customer service experience. I asked her for syringes because they didn’t include it and she put a bunch of syringes on the dirty counter. I don’t know how these people got jobs but if anyone could get a job like this in a pharmacy, I don’t know what this world is coming to. Somebody should be accountable. How is this fair that a mother with three kids and a sick herself have to deal with this payment issue when I have insurance and that I have to pay out-of-pocket triple times just because of someone else’s mistake. I hope you change your workers because I will be going to a...
Read moreService is horrible. Example: My First and my Last time there. While, I was on line (pretty long line), a young man came after me. He was anxious to leave so he used the self check-out. Mind you there are 2 workers behind the counter, not one offered the service. Nevertheless, the young guy was having a difficult time with the self-service. So,he gets back into the line for self service to use the other machine that was currently occupied. The employee stops in the middle of a transaction. Doesn't say anything to the costumer infront of him and goes to assist the young guy that was last in line. I'm not sure if I'm wrong, however we deal with the costumer in front of us before attending anyone else. Especially if he was the last person in line. Is just good etiquette. Stand up for equality and stop the unnecessary favoritism. Everyone is equal no matter...
Read moreThe pharmacists and workers at the Nutley CVS have been outstanding every time they have helped me. Recently I retired and my medical changed for my family. My wife, special needs daughter and i all have different coverage. My daughter is not on Medicaid. When i recently purchased a prescription for her, the Medicaid card did not work. It said that it was still her secondary. Demetria spent extra time with me and explained what I needed to do to correct this. She was correct. Then she helped reimburse me for the cost of the medicine and it will now be covered by Medicaid. i thank her and...
