Caffè Rosalba — Restaurant in Nutley

I was in the area dropping off my daughter to see her brother. I've never left my daughter like that before. I decided to wait at this divine coffee shop. I asked Rosalba for chamomile tea for my mom & she greated me with such warmth. She told me being in my shop you dont need this tea. She was sure right. I felt at home. She prepared the best cappuccino I've ever had. Even her customers were beautifully spirited people. I made a friend there. Truth is, I lost my godson to cancer & flew in from GA for his services. I was hurting for him & nervous about my daughter. Rosalba comforted me. She hugged me tight & made me feel so much better. I will never forget her & she gave me souvenirs that I will cherish. Delicious coffee. My favorite spot for a cappuccino with a lot of foam and they have a variety of sugar options. The environment is friendly Italian-Hispanic vibes. The one negative experience I have to mention is the door to walk in… it is extremely heavy. I am tiny so when I opened the door it immediately slammed on my hand. The workers saw me hunched over grabbing my hand in pain and one worker just mentioned how it happens to her all the time. I strongly recommend the owner fix the door so that it is not as heavy or doesn’t close so quickly. I still give it 5 stars because the coffee, sandwiches and gelato are very tasty. However my hand was very swollen and red after. I came to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and was met first with pain.. 😭 not fun.
