I feel compelled to express my profoundly disappointing experience with DB Plumbing & Heating, an engagement orchestrated by the management of my apartment building. To put it bluntly, my encounter with this company has left me utterly dismayed by their utter lack of professionalism and efficiency, prompting me to vehemently discourage anyone from considering their services.

Let me begin with their woeful sense of time management and overall work efficiency. A particularly disruptive incident occurred one fateful Monday morning when a swarm of personnel barged in to remove old radiators from various apartments. The end result? Not only did they utterly fail to complete the task on time, but they also managed to inflict extensive damage to my apartment floor due to their careless handling of the equipment.

As if their mishandling of time wasn't infuriating enough, their unprofessional communication further intensified my frustration. When attempting to ascertain the progress of their work, I was met with a shocking level of hostility and impatience. Their responses were dripping with disdain, attributing their delays and issues to being overworked, under-staffed, and inadequately compensated. While I can empathize with their challenges, it's an unforgivable transgression to unleash their frustrations onto paying customers seeking transparency.

The dire state of their work environment is further evident in their negligence towards cleanliness and hygiene. After drilling holes in the wall, the sheer disregard for cleaning up the ensuing mess was utterly astonishing. Leaving debris and shavings scattered around is not just a minor oversight; it's a testament to their lack of professionalism and utter disregard for the customer experience.

I can say that we've checked the boxes for all of the above.

We used DB Plumbing for a leak that was coming through our ceiling between the 1st and 2nd floor. I will say that we did need more than just a plumber as we wanted the complete job of removing the ceiling, fix the plumbing, replace drywall and paint.

Responsive: We had contacted Drilon early on Jan 7th, and he was at our house later that afternoon. We discussed the work that needed to be done, then scheduled the work to begin Friday the 13th at 8am

Value: After going through several plumbers and contractors, they Were all pretty much around the same ballpark. Out of the 3 we spoke with, it's fair to say he landed in the middle.

Timely: Drilon and team showed up exactly 8 am and began their work. They completed the work in one full day as expected. No delays.

Quality: As a homeowner, this is probably the most important. No one wants to ever deal with hired work that did not meet expectations. They identified the leak and replaced the PVC piping. They cleaned up afterward and explained the work that was done.

We did like the fact that they left the ceiling open (we agreed on this) for several days just to make sure the leak was fixed. The next day there was a very minor leak, literally a few drops. We contacted Drilon and he returned the next day to repair the issue. We ran water for a while and all leaks were gone.

After several days, we were confident the repairs were complete, so Drilon sent his contractor to our home to replace the ceiling and finalize painting. We are very happy with all of the work done. It is as if nothing had ever occurred. They put up new dry wall, spackled, and painted in roughly 7 hours.

If you are on the fence about hiring a plumber, I will say this, you are doing an injustice if you don't at least contact and speak with him as one of your bids. I would highly recommend them and will absolutely be calling them again should another...

We can finally take a shower!!!! We had an issue with the upstairs bathroom where there was no water pressure in the shower. I was so frustrated with a previous plumber from Angi, who made the situation worse, that I thought the situation was hopeless. But then I came across DB Plumbing & Heating on Google. I read the reviews and decided to give them a try. BEST DECISION EVER! Drillon was courteous and professional on the phone. He and his team member came and quickly assessed the situation --- it wasn't a cartridge issue after all. The thousand-year old pipe in the wall needed to be replaced. I thought they'd have to break through the shower tile to get to the pipe. But no, they were able to access the pipe through the bedroom closet by making a small square hole. He just knew EXACTLY what to do! As they were working, they explained the situation and kept me in the loop. The cost was FAIR. The work was QUICK. The shower and faucet are 100% restored!
