Scoop of Paradise — Restaurant in Hawaii

Cute little ice cream shop with stuffed animals and toys for kids. Unfortunately, the person working behind the counter (older gentleman with tattoos) had a “I hate my job” vibe. It started to get busy a few moments after we arrived and as more people entered the shop, the employee behind the counter would loudly sigh and grumble because he had to actually do his job and serve customers. I witnessed an aggressive exchange between a gentleman who had a small child and the employee while the customer was paying for his ice cream. Afterwards my friend and I were outside and the gentleman with the child overheard us talking and asked if that guy seemed upset and kinda awkward towards the customers. We all agreed and wondered how a man like that could be so unhappy and unfriendly towards customers while working in a cute ice cream shop on the north shore. I’m a local and will not be back and will not recommend that shop to any of my friends and family who come to visit Oahu...

We found this cute little ice cream shop/gift store while in search of shave ice after a day at the beach. Walked inside and immediately knew we were in the right place — the shop smells amazing and the selection of locally-made ice cream flavors is almost overwhelming. The staff let my son sample several flavors, and he was in dessert heaven.

This was hands down the best ice cream we’ve had in Hawaii. One child decided to get vanilla and said it was the best ice cream he’s ever tasted. The rest of us got different tropical fruit and nut flavors. All were excellent. Would give this place more stars if we could. Definitely Oahu prices, but it was worth the...

I read that they had many exotic flavors here but other than LAVENDER and ROSE flavors there wasn't anything out of the ordinary compared to say Baskin Robbins.

The place had a typical Haleiwa surf town decor but looked dim and dingy inside and the two gentleman providing service were not the most friendly or outgoing characters you'll ever meet although they were adequate. They looked like they had a long day.

Pricing is typical of your standard ice cream joint but I would much prefer going to BR, Dave's, Cold Stone and especially Bubbies.

It's pretty overrated but the tourists apparently...
