If I could give this place a zero, I would. I will never return to this Aritzia ever again in life. First, their clothes are too expensive for me to receive poor customer service, which is a bit strange seeing as though the rest of staff was warm and welcoming beside one person. I arrived to the store and Mercedes welcomed me in and was kind enough to get me a fitting room, which I didn’t mind since I honestly did not want to carry clothes around in the store. As I was browsing through the store trying to find clothes for my vacation trip to Hawaii, I get this strange feeling that there is someone watching me and I was correct. There was a sales associate named Alexa or someone who’s name starts with an A standing on the side of the rack of clothes just full blown staring at me. When I looked up, she then smiles. The smiles the Karen’s do when they want to have an issue. So, I ask her if there was an issue or problem and she responds and says no. I then go to the other side where she is standing and begin to browse through the rack of clothes and then she proceeds to walk away. Long story short, these clothes are way overpriced and if I’m going to spend my somewhere and get treated like trash, I can go somewhere else. I’m not a thief and I’ve never stolen in my life or plan on it. It’s people of every race and ethnicity that steal. Unfortunately, they only show minorities as the people who steal, but there are plenty of social media post and history proving who are the race of people that had to steal, kill, and destroy to be come the people in power. This store will not be around much longer treating people like this. Aritzia needs to be concerned about the people that actually run out of the store with the clothes, not the innocent people who are actually shopping. I always go into lululemon and never have an issue and their clothes are just as pricey as Aritzia....
Read moreLet me share the incredible experience my mom and I had at this Aritzia store. It was our first time visiting an American Aritzia, and being from Canada, we were genuinely intrigued to see how it compared. Well, let me tell you, we were absolutely blown away!
Our style advisor, Jane, deserves a standing ovation. I can confidently say she is the most exceptional style advisor I've ever come across. We've been to several Aritzia locations, and they've all been great, but this one truly stood out. Jane went above and beyond to assist both my mom and me, offering valuable sizing advice and providing fantastic recommendations. She was a true gem!
Furthermore, the store itself was immaculate. The cleanliness was impressive, and every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. It created such a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere throughout our visit.
Now, here's the cherry on top. I had a Canadian gift card that unfortunately couldn't be used in the US. It was a bit disappointing, but the associate at the cash register (I wish I got her name) promptly came up with a solution that saved the day.
I want to thank the amazing ladies at Aritzia Oakbrook. When I return to Chicago, there's no doubt in my mind that I'll be making a beeline for this Aritzia location. Thank you all for an amazing...
Read moreUnfortunately, negative reviews about the demeanor of the staff here are true. I don’t live in the area, but stopped by and was simply browsing to pass the time. I usually go to the Woodfield location, and that is where I will go from now on.
I saw a shirt I liked and went to try it on. The fitting room attendant said something to me that I was shocked to hear, and her tone of voice was quite rude and condescending. She said, “ What? You didn’t find anything else out there for yourself???” There are other ways to increase sales targets and number of items per transaction, but this is not it. She was basically making fun of me and assuming my economic status. If she was good at her job she could have suggested another item to pair with the top, yet she chose to make fun of me. Now, you may be inclined to say that she may have been joking, but she wasn’t. Her tone, the look in her eyes, and body language were all rude. She was a bully and I don’t think she should represent the brand by working at Aritzia. I get working retail is hard, I’ve done it too. But even if you’re tired or having a bad day, you should not talk to customers like that. I’m giving two stars as opposed to one because the location is large and had a good selection. Attitude of workers needs some improvement. You are in the real world, not...
