I use to shop here, about 15 yrs ago (but downtown, Chi location in Water Tower). I didn’t know if I’d find anything but what I did know is that this is a brand that I knew I could trust. To say that I was extremely pleased with the excellent customer service I received would be a huge understatement. I was swiftly & pleasantly reminded of how stores were a couple decades ago when the customer came 1st! I felt seen, heard, understood & like I was really taken care of in a way that made me want to spend my hard earned money there. I was greeted on my way in. While I was just browsing for something to catch my eye, I was introduced to a salesperson who inquired what brought me in & if I had an event to attend or if I was just looking for some pieces to add to my wardrobe.

There were 4 sales persons that were each communicating with eachother with every step I took & somehow despite the store having a good amount of customers, we were each being attended to by multiple people. Within 10 minutes of browsing the fits in a clockwise rotation, I found myself in the fitting room with 15+ options all in varying sizes. The fitting room attendant was collaborating with the couple salespeople that were grabbing addtl options for me and she was adding clothing & helping me to grab different sizes and also removing things that didn’t quite work for me. She was on the ball! Every-time I had changed into another outfit, she’d pop her head in & provide feedback & ask me how I felt it each fit. My aim was to score an outfit to wear to a holiday party that I ended up not even attending. I left with 2 complete & interchangeable outfits & a an addtl cute top just incase I wanted a 3rd option. I didn’t know that they also offer stylists who are willing to come meet you anywhere in the city! I was blown away by this level of customer service. I honestly didn’t know it still existed. I’ll definitely be back & I might even call one of the cards I was given for the stylist! My bill was a little over $300 w/ tax but for all of the high quality items I scored, they’ll be a part of my wardrobe for years. There was no less than a 3:1 ratio of salespeople to clients, complete with high quality /no pressure customer service! Unbeatable. Took me about 45 minutes to try 15 different things on & ended up with 5 items (3 tops & 2 pants) that I really liked. Well worth the trip, the time, the value & I’ll use these pieces for years to come! I don’t shop often but when I do, I’ll be returning to this boutique! Happy to learn they upheld their standards over the years! Highly recommend! I might double back to share the clothing I splurged on. WHBM offers beautiful, high-quality, stylish clothes at reasonable prices. They appeal to a wide range of ages and sizes. They also have an awesome petite selection. Their garments have trendy variations of classic styles, which are great for work, casual and fancy affairs. The Oak Brook store has especially fantastic customer service! The staff and stylists are talented at working with various body types and are incredibly attentive while you are in the dressing room. No need to re-dress just to get another size! Help is always nearby. Stylists even suggest companion pieces, accessories and shoes without any pressure to buy. It's so nice because they help you create a total look. It's the perfect place to grab an outfit for the weekend or a special occasion. I particularly love how neat and organized this location is. The clothes on the racks are ALWAYS hung in order by size. And, the staff are very quick at returning un-purchased clothes from the dressing rooms back to the sales floor. No hunting to find a size! The Oak Brook WHBM is a fun place to shop and it is full of positive energy. (All of their stores might be this way, but I only have experience with Oak Brook.) If you haven't been there, you should stop in. You won't regret it. You'll walk out...

This store has declined a lot over the past few years. My boyfriend and I were in this store just yesterday. We left so insulted from the lack of customer service! We walked in and barely got a "hello". I tried on the clothing I was interested in. I never once was even acknowledged by the staff in the dressing room section. Then, when I was done, my boyfriend and I walked to the counter to pay.....We waited for 20 minutes. There was no one manning the cashier station. I made eye contact with several staff members....No one came to help us out. My boyfriend also made it very clear we were waiting for someone to help us out. I finally tossed my "desired" item across the counter, stared right at the security camera and walked out without purchasing anything right past the two plus staff members right next to the cashier counter... I have never been treated so poorly in the entire time I have been a customer...I will never come back to this store. I instead walked over to a competing brand and bought...
