I usually have a good experience when I go to HomeGoods however this time was not the case and I will no longer be going back to this location. The store is completely empty it’s almost about 7 PM workers were putting things on the shelf and not saying excuse me to any customers.
One worker almost hit my son and didn’t say excuse me and the other one just kept going right about her business and said nothing.
When I mentioned that I wanted to talk to the store manager at the front check out two of the workers decided to actually stand right next to the manager and listen in. The manager was also no help as she basically shrugged off my complaint about professionalism and common courtesy towards other people. It’s extremely disappointing to see especially during the holidays that these workers between the ages of 16 and 18 years old have zero manners whatsoever. I am highly disappointed with the manager and professionalism of the manager and the experience that I had at home goods.
In addition I noticed that the employees said hi to everybody else except myself and my son as we walked into home goods. I find it very funny that they are selecting and picking and choosing who they’re saying hello or can we help you find something. My son and I are biracial and the fact that they said hello to two white ladies that just walked in before us and never acknowledged us at all. It was more as if they were watching us rather than actually being friendly. Such a shame and disappointment don’t shop at this HomeGoods if you’re of color or multicultural Because you will not get the same...
Read moreThe Oak Creek location on Howell Ave. is the worst place anyone could ever shop at. Seems like all this store hires are ornery angry old biddies. No matter if you’re purchasing or returning- they always make you feel unwelcome and and uncomfortable. Rude to the tenth degree and to the point of demeaning. Cashier NEELA Supervisor LISA with short finger length hair and Manager SHARON should be ashamed of the mistreatment they placed on me. When I asked Sharon what the supervisor’s name was - she didn’t want to tell me. I asked again and someone told me. They completely humiliated me and make me feel like a criminal because I had a photo and my email receipt where they couldn’t see the top potion of it. NEELA talked down to and disrespected another cashier who was trying to help and whom was actually the only kind person in the entire situation. NEELA told her to stay out of it and shut up. The LISA came over and told me to stop being nasty to her cashier! Then SHARON came over and back both NEELA and LISA. This was a horrible experience. This store needs to raise the...
Read moreWent to purchase a lamp and as I’m checking out, a different salesperson came over and started unscrewing the lightbulbs. This was the first time I ever had someone take the bulbs out. I said I would like to keep them because they were Edison bulbs and went with the lamp aesthetic. She said they remove all lightbulbs because it’s a safety feature. Funny because I just returned a lamp thirty minutes before that I bought from that same store that still had the lightbulbs. I still protested and as she’s trying to unscrew it, she literally yanks the lightbulb out and caused it to explode with glass all over me and the clothes in my cart. Then she has the audacity to say: see! Well if she hadn’t yanked it out, she wouldn’t have broken the bulb or broken the lamp in the process (because she literally ripped out the connection). Now I’m leaving the store with glass in my shoes and all over my clothes. I’m irate with the way this store handled the situation without any form of...
