Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Oak Harbor

Always helpful, friendly service! Great prices! All around great place to buy feed, supplies etc.. Anything you would find at your local feed store, and so much more! I prefer it to the Wal-Mart's and other pet supply stores for my pet supplies as well! Also have a great return policy. Unlike Wal-Mart and Petco. I got a flea collar at Petco that made my kitty sick and Petco of Oak Harbor would not let me return it! I also got a box of Ol' Roy brand peanut butter biscuits for our dog at the Wal-Mart in Oak Harbor, and the biscuits were burnt! The gal at customer service at that Wal-Mart basically told me "so what" they're for a dog! Ummmm! Excuse me!!!!! Now, let me tell you how great theTractor Supply store is, from a very personal experience! I was on my way to an appointment because I was sick. Right before I got to my appointment I had an accident. Not a car accident, but an accident inside my car! Know what I mean.. Well, I happened to be right by our Tractor Supply store. The woman there helped me get what I needed to clean myself up in the bathroom, but my jeans were not wearable to my appointment. The woman working that day had some jeans on sale due to a discontinuation. Usually, something that's not returnable. An all sales are final thing. However, all the jeans were 2 sizes too big for me, but wearable to my appointment. I wore the jeans to my appointment, took them home, washed them and was allowed to return them the next month when I came back into town... Now that's going above and beyond the call of duty! Thank you TS! You were definately my hero's that day! Sincerely, one of your biggest fans and patron for life. TG Once again, the wonderful folks at our Tractor Suppy Co. have come to my rescue! I am elderly and have a very bad prosthetics hip. The new hip came apart on day one after my surgery in 2020...that's right, it completely failed, but that's another story! The prosthetic is now so loose that it comes apart all if the time! As it did in the middle of the TS store on Tuesday 6/10/25. First I have to thank the customer who came to my aid, along with Tia, the wonderful employee who assisted me, bringing a chair, ice cold water and the sweetest heart!!! Thank you Tia! And the 2 fine gentlemen that assisted me on June 10th 2025! Tia set aside my cart, with the items that I had, looked after my car in the parking lot, and of course got First Responders there asap! After a short trip to Whidbey Healths awesome ER, and a little traction...to set the prosthetic right...I was almost right as rain! When I returned to the store to pick up my car, I finished my shopping with the help of the wonderful guys filling up my brand new propane tank, picking up the treats for my fur babies and the safest slug bait..in my opinion and the only kind sold at TS! The whole ordeal began around noon and I was, back on the road by 3:30! Proof that we are all truly blessed within our amazing community here on Whidbey Island and there are angels amongst us at all times!!! I couldn't be more grateful! Thank you again TS! I will avoid using their delivery service in the future because: -Tractor Supply takes no responsibility for product after their delivery service (Roadie) picks up the order at the nearest store -Oak Harbor manager was rude when contacted by phone and notified that one large (and very heavy) multiple-item order was dropped off without pre-notification and deposited to a random location on our farm, necessitating that I relocate all items to the desired location. (I opted for the delivery service, this time, rather than store pickup to preclude necessity for my lifting with current bad back) -Roadie drivers do not seem to be adequately vetted for their roles as they have brought large-item orders in very small private vehicles. -A recent Roadie delivery from Tractor Supply was pleasant enough, but a large odor of recently smoked cannabis was clearly evident when the driver emerged from...

Having shopped here a number of times and always leave irritated. Chances are if you are going here to shop than you know what you need but if you don't do not expect any help from the staff. I have never found a helpful staff member who knows what I am asking for or where to find it in their store. To add insult to injury you will most likely need to find someone to check you out. Good times...
