Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Oak Harbor

I hadn’t ordered from Pizza Hut in many many years. It was the family fav with my kids growing up and pretty much the only pizza I would eat. (I’m not a big pizza fan) I ordered thin and crispy which is one of the pizzas we always got and Cinnabon cinnamon rolls which was supposed to come with the Cinnabon cream cheese frosting. Yum! It was the worst pizza I’ve eaten. The toppings were okay but the crust tasted like cardboard so that ruined the taste of the toppings. I looked at the bottom of the pizza and sure enough, it was not fresh pizza dough. It had little holes all through it so I assume they purchase a hard crust and heat it with the toppings. Now the dessert…. Cinnamon rolls and cream cheese dressing are one of my all time favorites with Cinnabon being at the top. The cinnamon rolls were about the size of a quarter and topped with a sugar glaze. If there was any cream cheese in it, I couldn’t taste it at all. This frosting was a smoky clear glaze and cream cheese frosting is opaque! I’m just sick that I wasted $54.48 (which included tip and $6 delivery fee), on food this bad. Sooo. I haven't had pizza hut in years so I decided to go there over the weekend. Grabbed a big New Yorker. Really liked it so I decided to go get another one today. Staff that was there on the weekend was pretty personable....but not this go round. Guy working the front counter did not seem to like what he was doing....at all. Wasn't very personable over the phone. Wasn't very personable in person when I went pick it up either. Definitely acted like he didn't want to be there....didn't say one word to me. Not only was service unfriendly but the pizza was definitely missing what made it the New Yorker. When I ordered it he asked me what I wanted on it to which I told him just pepperoni. I know it's supposed to come with two different kinds of pepperoni and the garlic parmesean seasoning. We I only got one kind of pepperoni and no garlic parmesean seasoning at all. Overall experience kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. If I want to pay to not get what I want and have someone have someone be unhappy I would have...

Placed a carry out order and didn't get my wings. I wasn't willing to drive back there to get wings while my pizza was getting cold, so I called. Apparently it's MY fault, that's what the manager said anyhow. And no, she wasn't willing to deliver them since they had no deliveries in my area. I'm all for owning up to my end, I should have checked and even did, I just forgot about the wings, I would have been shorted a 2- liter also had I not reminded the clerk. She double checked my receipt before giving it to me, you would think she would have caught the missing wings at that point. Then the supervisor acts like she's doing me a favor by crediting the $5 I spent on an item I WASN'T getting back to my account. 3 stars only because I like Pizza Hut pizza, I won't order from this store again tho, it's not like I like them THAT much more than any other...
