I was driving past the down and decide to find a café to rest. So I searched nearby and found a boba shop called Boba Toons located in Oak Harbor. I usually have very bad experience at boba shop in small towns due to lack of competitors. Customers are usually not regulars, therefore they usually have less knowledge of how boba works. Driven by an invisible strong force of curiosity, I decided to come in and bite the bullet. Located in a small town, considering the cost of running a business, the price is slightly higher than expected, roughly same price as if the shop is opened in greater Seattle area. I tried their classic green milk tea, and the taste was comparable to a decent boba location in a big city. I also tried their bubble waffle and chicken wings, and neither of them disappointed me. The bubble waffle is cooked well done on the outside, and still soft in the inside. The wings are jumbo sized, served with celery and ranch, such generous amount would definitely offset the slightly expensive cost. By the way, their boba drink is tea mixed with creamer and milk, but they also have non-dairy...

Really love this place. Had never had boba before, only heard of its fame and glory. Refreshers with popping are my favorite combos, with weird milk teas with regular tapioca bobas second best, almost a savory quality at that point. Jasmine milk tea + boba = amazing, but lychee refresher + strawberry popping = king for me so far. (My photo shows cherry pearls, strawberry popping have in all honesty been out of stock 9/10 times we've been in) Dine in is their default order state but they usually still give to me in take out when I order in the evenings, like with the covering lid and boba straw. I would recommend mentioning take-out if ordering fries, food or multiple drinks. Their seasoned fries are veeeeery seasoned and actually really good.

Unfortunately this store doesn't open till 1:30pm and closes at 9pm which has got to be the most inconvenient, sad time possible. Work or school or a study or a friend event gets out and you all want a tea? Too bad, they're closed! We had a short window to be out this afternoon and couldn't make it to get tea today, I've been...

Ive been here twice now and I really want to love this place. It’s such a cute spot, but the drinks have let me down twice now. The first time I went I got a smoothie with brown sugar boba pearls, I’ve had those pearls at other places so I know what they’re supposed to taste like. The pearls were crunchy, like they were stale if that was possible. At the time I thought it was because I got a smoothie, but even at other boba places I’d never had that issue before. Thinking this was a one time thing I went back the other day and ordered a Caramel milk tea. I tried to order it with tapioca pearls but they were out, and when I asked the cashier what her recommendation of pearls with that drink was, she suggested the brown sugar pearls. I thought since the drink I was getting was iced instead of frozen I thought I wouldn’t have the same issue again, but I was wrong. Not only did the drink taste off, but the pearls tasted as if someone made hard jello and let it sit out all day. I love boba, so it was very disappointing to spend $7+ on a drink I...

This brand spanking new boba shop is the newest hidden gem in Oak Harbor. The staff is upbeat and kind and the drinks are delicious. Few notes: -Hours have not been steady yet, so give a quick call if you are driving far to make sure first. -Smoothies are way too CHONKY. Not smooth. Oh well. -Wear short, breathable clothing because it has been OBSCENELY hot in here each visit. These guys are new and the menu is said to be expanding soon. I LOVE floral drinks so my favorites are the Derrick rose and lavender with standard boba. Great ambiance that feels welcoming, kind staff and delicious drinks. Definitely will be returning and you should too!!

Cute little spot, love the fish tank. Definitely an after school hang out spot for kids. I’ve been twice and the service was good. First visit I got a Lychee Refresher with strawberry popping, my daughter got a Peach Refresher with strawberry popping and we shared their BBQ flavored fries. We liked. Second trip was today and I decided to try a Taro Milk Tea with boba. Unfortunately I didn’t really like it…but I’m not a huge fan of tea to begin with. I’d still recommend though!
