I'll NEVER GO BACK! It may be marketed as CONSIGNMENT, But they sell a lot of NEW......MODEL HOME TYPE FURNITURE. The USED FURNITURE is very high priced! The market it as HIGH END, gently used, from the UPPER CRUST HOMES, But it's still USED! I see posts daily on Social Network Sell Sites, selling really nice furniture for a fraction of the cost! Also the FAKE PLANTS AND TREES....you can purchase for much less @ Garden Ridge, Home Store, or even Hobby Lobby!! The entire inventory was nothing to write home about....mostly modern and traditional furnishings, and rather formal rugs. (Also high priced) Nothing Fun or Quaint, as you would expect of a consignment shop. Lots of TIN/New purchased in bulk from Mexico no doubt. I was very disappointed, and if Social Media is an accurate accounting.. (since that's where they advertise) many others were disappointed as well. Oh well, it's off my bucket list of...

You never know what you will find at this store. I have punched many unusual items at the McKinney, TX store. Great art and fine jewelry. However on this visit I was a bit upset as one of my friends asked where the restroom was and the sales lady replied they did not have a public restroom. I was shocked because I really do not think their customers are bums off the street. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion my is if you have a retail business where you take customers money you should provide restrooms. I can understand not letting a customer use your restroom if you are having plumbing problems or are struggling to by toilet supplies. Thar being said go to the potties elsewhere before visiting The Home Consignment Store...

I had picked out an item as soon as the store opened and an employee offered to hold it at the counter until I retrieved my other items. She removed he price tag for me. I was at the checkout when another customer claimed to have it on hold. There was no hold tag on it and I was literally at the checkout. The employees could not decide what to do. Rather than stand there an argue I decided to leave. As I walked out the door they all laughed. This is so rude, unprofessional and hurtful. My family and I have spent thousands in this store which ends as of now. I will share this experience with the neighbors and communities I previously encouraged...
