This resale shop seemed well-organized and like the kind of place I’d normally enjoy supporting, but my experience trying to sell clothes was really disappointing. I arrived at 11:40 AM with two bags of clothing and was told it would be about an hour wait. I was also given the option to leave my items and return by the end of the day, but then I wouldn't be able to refuse their offer. Since I was told it would only take an hour, I decided to wait.

After waiting in my car, I checked back in an hour and a half later. I was told there was only one person ahead of me and it would be about 30 more minutes. By 1:55 PM (over two hours after I arrived), they still hadn’t started reviewing my clothes. The employee who was sorting stopped multiple times to help check out customers or assist others. I had to leave by 2 PM to pick up my child and couldn’t wait any longer.

This whole process felt poorly managed. If I had known it would take this long, I never would have waited or even dropped the clothes off. I don’t live in the area, so this was a waste of time and gas. They don’t seem to consider that not everyone is local. Better time estimates and respect for people’s schedules would go a long way. I’m an avid UC shopper from DFW and decided to stop to wait out traffic. I arrived at 6:30 and shortly after asked to use the bathroom (after driving for 4 hours). I was told yes, but then told that it was being cleaned. So, I waited about 10 minutes and tried the door again, locked. I asked an employee if the cleaning was done but was told the bathrooms were closed for the night, “because they were clean”. Closing time wasn’t until 8pm, this was before 7. Thankfully, Kirklands next door let me in to use the restroom even though they were locking their doors as I walked up. Despite the red flag, I went back to UC and browsed more. I had 5 items to try on and headed to the dressing room at 7:32. Nope, those were closed too! As I checked out at 7:41, they were sweeping the floors, with other customers still in the store.

There are much better stores (with way better brands/styles) in this huge metro area, don’t waste...

HELLO I TOOK MY CLOTHES TO UPTOWM CHEAPSKATE AT 1245 PM AND I DROPPED OFF 3 BAGS OF CLOTHES AND THE YOUNG LADY AT THE FRONT DESK ASKED IF I EVER SOLD TO UPTOWN CHEAPSKATE AND I SAID YES, SHE SAID SIGN IN AND PLEASE SIGN THIS RECEIPT AND ON THE RECEIPT, IT SAID THE WAIT TIME IS 120 MINUTES SO I WAITED 2 HOURS WENT BACK IN TO CHECK AND SHE SAID NO ITS NOT READY WE WILL CALL YOU WHEN IT IS READY....SO AFTER ALMOST 4 HOURS I SAID TO MYSELF THIS IS STRANGE SO I CALLED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER WHICH WAS ANGELICA AND TO MY SURPRISE ANGELICA SAID WE DONT CALL YOU FOR A DROP OFF UNTIL 7PM AND YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR ITEM'S IN THE MORNING I WAS EXTREMELY UPSET BECAUSE I WASTED 4 HOURS WAITING WHEN I DIDNT NEED TO AND THE APOLOGY I GOT FROM ANGELICA WAS A LITTLE SNIPPY LIKE IM SORRY BUT ITS NOTHING I CAN DO.
