UPDATE: Second time in a year, second time I have been humiliated by the same employee/manager about my service dog being in the store with me!!! Tired of being treated rude, disrespected, humiliated, caused to have an anxiety and panic attack that leads to a siezure!!! If you have a service dog, PTSD, Anxiety Disorder, seizures brought on by these things. STAY OUT OF THIS STORE!!!! STAY AWAY FROM RHONDA! THESE PEOPLE KNOW NOTHING OF ADA LAWS AND HARASS DISABLED PEOPLE JUST TRYING TO SHOP!!! BEWARE DISABLED PEOPLE!!! Rude employees who know nothing about the laws and rules for service animals. I was followed through the store and demanded to show multiple proof of my service dog who works as a seizure alert partner and warns me of low blood sugar so needs to be close to my face. Management used allergies as the reason for not letting me have my service dog in the cart (she is a Boston terrier, a small dog) and I always use a blanket in the child seat. I have multiple back issues and can not carry her. This experience caused me to have a major anxiety and panic attack, the result of this visit set my service dog back several months of training and several hundreds of dollars to retrain... It took me a while to post this review because I just learned of the Google reviews. I do not stay in this store very long periods of time and mostly to pick up prescription medications. This store gives me...
Read moreI've shopped at this store since the day it opened. But since you have remodeled...the prices were high to begin with but they are getting totally out of hand. Your Friskies cat food has gone from .50 cents a can. (On Sale), to now 65. scents a can on sale...so that means each can is now .80 per can...At Walmart..the exact same (with better selection of flavors) is .48 cents a can...Really? Approximately a what? 87% difference. Flavored waters in liter bottles. Walmart 68cents. (also better selection of flavors) You...87 cents per bottle I purchased 2 new types of Kellog cereal....$4.99 a box, Walmart..exact same cereal...$3.38 a box. Don't you really feel you a gouging your customer. And yes, I understand Walmart is a national company...and YOU have a captive audience but over a 1.60 per BOX is beyond a reasonable mark up... So considering almost everyone here in Oakhurst does major shopping in Fresno, where do you think I will I will be doing mine? And just for your own information. I don't like Walmart..but to stretch my dollars and not pay markups of close to 100% on some items...I will bite the bullet and go there, The only reason I gave you 3 stars...You have great customer service. Brin is wonderful, and most of your checkers are outstanding. Some of your bag personnel is not not as helpful, but they have an exhausting job and are...
Read moreOn Sunday 22nd October at 11.45am, Ms Bailey, a young rude and very disrespectful checkout staff was very unprofessional.
It all began when apparently I was standing a little too close for her comfort behind another shopper who was paying. She told me to “stand back” in a manner that was not very nice. She then went on with her rude body language, rolling her eyes and shaking her head. She asked me if I wanted a bag for 10cents, I said no. However my husband did not hear this so he was unaware.
Coming from Australia, our systems, culture and traditions are not the same as in America. We do not pay for bags at the supermarket so this was new to us. Without realising, my husband started putting items in the bag. Ms Bailey very rudely snatched the bag literally out of his hands and commented “they cost money, they are not free”.
There was another couple behind us who witnessed the entire incident. If the store has a camera, please replay this and view it for yourself.
Does the store not have any training programs on what is correct/acceptable professional customer service? Is Ms Bailey not trained? She has to be reprimanded or sacked. She was completely out of line. This is not how any customer should be treated. She is the reflection and representation of the company. She is also reflecting...
