We had booked a room through a promotion that was offered on TikTok called 100 days for $100. We booked three nights and had screenshots of the conversations had with the owner confirming the booking. However, when we tried to reach out as it got closer to our reservation date to inquire about the confirmation email we should have received, there was no reply despite our reaching out to the owner via email, Instagram, TikTok and via phone. When we got up to the inn the day of our reservation, there was no one there. Fortunately, there was a woman named Sarah who runs the salon on the back who is amazing! She helped us get in touch with the owner and he finally called us back saying that he had been fighting fires up in Oregan. While we appreciate his efforts, he also said they had switched software programs and our reservation did not get transferred over. Which is why our room was not only unavailable, but all other rooms had been booked as well. We understand that things happen but the lack of communication and accountability are unacceptable. On a happier note, please visit the Sarah Kathleen Salon and tell her we sent you. She is so kind and went above and beyond to help us find a hotel with a vacancy for the night as everywhere else is unavailable. Unfortunately, we have to cut...

Reviews were great, but not so accurate! We arrived to a room (Peyton Suite) that was 54 degrees and the heat was not turned on. We contacted the owner after about an hour there, they advised that it would take a couple hours for the room to warm up, the cleaning staff ( the daughter) must have forgotten to turn it on. Regardless, it took over 3+ hours for the room to reach 70 degrees. Then the shower drain backed up, thank goodness they had a plunger, then we also found the bathroom sink was backed up as well. Went to use the Keurig, the descale light was on and it was dirty... In speaking/texting the owner, the never offered an apology for any of the above, stating they had been doing this for 3 years and had rave reviews... No accountability... Sad... Oh, they have strict rules... Quiet beginning at 9pm, which the owner claimed 10pm, but it didn't matter as we had very noisy neighbors, it appears they don't enforce their "rules". Wouldn't ever stay...
Read moreWorst stay, a real nightmare, beware of this scam. They have several rooms across the town. Ours was bookable through AirBnB and other platforms and was above the kitchen of the "Smokehouse 41 BBQ". The building was directly at an intersection and really dirty. Our room was difficult to find, there were no instructions. It was so noisy, sleeping was impossible due to the kitchen noise, multiple air cons and the street noise. Even late at night after 10 pm I measured the noise and it was constantly 75-85 decibel (which is louder than a turned on vacuum cleaner and actually harmful). The building was in a bad state. None of the given numbers could be contacted, nobody responsed, there was only a strange app where nobody replied. We had to cancel and search for new accomodation late at night. All this for 250$ per night, which was our most expensive stay throughout three weeks in California and Arizona.
Edit: It is interesting to see how the "dad" Matt who never responded to me when I had issues with the accomodation does reply to a bad review and asks to take it down as it is two weeks old, yet the two months old fake 5* reviews are fine for him. Do not believe...
