Landmark Plant Co. — Local services in Oceanside

Cute store, but not kid friendly. When I first came the two ladies working there greeted me and my kids. I didn’t get any names, but one of them(blonde hair) mentioned that they could repot any plant I purchased into any pot purchased also if I’d like. I picked out a few things and when it was checkout time the girl(blonde hair)ringing me up seemed annoyed that my kids(ages 9-11)were picking up items to look at. She checked me out so fast just to go see what it was my kids were grabbing. She didn’t even finish bagging my stuff the other girl finished doing it for her. I can see the rolling eyes and hear the annoyed gasps she kept doing. She wanted us out so quick that the repotting offer went out the door. I wish I wouldn’t have gone through with my transaction. When we lived in Oceanside, We bought a few plants here. The people working were very helpful at that time. We looked for plant shops along our travels and didn’t find anything like Landmark. It isn’t typical to walk into a plant shop, be greeted by a knowledgeable employee who is willing to listen and help. We went back in today, explained exactly what we were looking for, and walked out minutes later with knowledge and plants. Definitely my first choice when...

This is the second time I have been in the store. I had a great experience the first time, staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. However, this time I found the staff member (Kimmy) short and not helpful at all. Her comment of, "as I've said" was not appreciated as I am just learning about different plants.
