Sunshine Brooks Theater — Attraction in Oceanside

We live in the area near Downtown Oceanside and have never seen a show. A few weeks ago we went to the Brooks theater and saw the New Musical song cycle: Seasons. A wonderful coming of age story as told through different perspectives in a small friends group. The show was fantastic and the music was amazing. The theater is nice in a modern way but still stays true to its roots. The lobby was decorated with some seasonal trimmings and the walls were lined with art that was for sale. We are new subscribers to this theater and have been here twice so far. This year's shows look really interesting. Parking is at the Civic Center and a short walk away. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for a meal before or after the show. The seats are comfortable with ample legroom. We came to see the Stranger Sings parody musical. It was awesome, we were laughing the whole time. The actors were great, such good singers too. They add snacks and a signature drink, I wish they had popcorn. You can tell that it was low budget, but that makes it all the better!
