Terrible and I feel discriminating service. I SAT AT the tiny bar one night after getting off work from my SERVICE job early. This bar has about 6 stools and is tiny, so I was 18 inches from their face. The bartender, who I found out later was the owner!, Ignored me for about 15 minutes! He took some shots himself, waited on someone else who came up standing after me. He didnt say "Hi" or "I'll be right with you" nothing! Then a different female bartender showed up took over. She proceeded to wait on some young guys to my left who showed up after me! Then someone else behind me who showed up after me! I finally asked her nicely if I could get a drink. In total in took about 20 minutes for me to receive service without any verbal communication before hand. Absolutely unexceptable customer service! If I perfomed in that manner at my service job I would be fired! Not to mention just a lack of common decency to at least greet a customer who is 18 inches from your face, sitting down with CASH in my hand as "old school" bar procedures. Given the first owner / bartender looked about 63 years old I was disappointed the cash in hand tactic didnt work nor did the smile on my face. I feel as if I was ignored purposely because I am not a regular or maybe because I am a middle aged 40 ish woman ( the target Karen stereotype) Also when the young lady bartender waited on the young guys next to me who showed up AFTER me she did say somethimg to the sort of " I will take care of my regulars". Well, this type of treatment is no way to earn more "regulars." This is too bad because I have many freinds who work in the industry at service and management levels. Guests ask me frequently where to go for a drink or nightlife. I wont be...
Read moreI really loved the ambiance and live jazz music. But that’s where it stopped. The decor was haphazardly done, bar is dirty and unorganized. The service was the worst part. I was ignored and not acknowledged for some time. The bartender / owner role never plays out right. Drinks are weak and governed pour spouts are used. While I understand the purpose of this however if a governed pour is offered it should be priced accordingly. Our drinks must’ve been $20 ea because our tab was $120 with tip for 6 generic beverages. Though, I wouldn’t know because no itemized bill was offered whatsoever, a very shady practice. I say shady because as a bartender I seen other shady practices performed behind the bar. I’m an understanding patron but unethical practices is where I draw the line, so I...

The night was just what we needed to have a mother daughter share night on the town! Thanks to the owner, the bartender and the cook, plus the great music, and of course the marvelous crowd of everso friendly people we met throughout the evening we could not have had a better evening together! I will myself be sure and return as soon as I can for all of the great things mentioned above, as I feel comfy enough to go without my daughter and enjoy myself with the friendly people I met last night. Great place to hang out and listen to great music, and meet great people. Thanks everyone was like being with family...
