We are so glad Gabeās made its way down from West Virginia to Central Florida! This store is a hidden gem for anyone who loves deals, variety, and a good treasure hunt. It feels like a mix between TJ Maxx and Burlingtonāwith racks and shelves full of discounted clothing, home goods, pet items, furniture, pantry staples, shoes, and more.
Youāll definitely want to set aside time to exploreāitās a big store with a lot to discover. But itās so worth it when you find something adorable for your kids or a great new outfit for yourself (yes, weāve done both already). Thereās also a fun seasonal section right up front that rotates with the time of year!
The staff was visible and helpful during our visit, answering questions and helping us find what we needed without hesitation.

I purchased a rubber outdoor rug that had a slit in it without realizing until i got home (my mistake) so i attempted to return it today and was denied the return because the item was donates. I have my original purchase receipt and the tags are still attached and it is not used but the manager āMaylieā refused to take my item because it was damaged and told me i should have noticed it was damaged when i purchased it⦠As a first time customer im appalled by this behavior and will never be returning. No where in the return policy does it state damaged items cannot be returned. Obviously used items, items with no tags cannot be returned and i understand that but this item is unused and damaged not by my doing. I asked for a phone number for corporate and no one could help me, and also when i tried to call the customer service number no answer. I will not be a returning customer due to the lack of customer service at this store and this company in general. Iām not upset about the $7 loss, iām upset at how the situation was handled when i came in...

Old Time Pottery, which Gabe's bought out and converted to their brand was a great place filled with mostly housewares, indoor and outdoor decor and holiday decorations. It was ideal and we loved it. Yesterday we went into Gabe's for the first and most likely last time and it was overwhelming disappointing. What was once a store that provided plenty of things for our home is now one that is 75%(?) clothing. And we're not talking quality there either. We walked the store looking and hoping to find a reason to be optimistic but came away empty. I don't understand the logic of a place like this less than a mile away from a Walmart Supercenter unless the quality of the merchandise is below even Walmart.
