UNDERSTAFFED - POOR SERVICE - STAY AWAY! My recent visit to this IHOP was unfortunately quite disappointing. The restaurant seemed severely understaffed, leading to a long wait just to be seated. Once we were finally seated, the issues continued. Long wait to place order. Our order was not completely accurate, and the pancakes were not served hot, missing food, coffee was dull, eggs were undercooked. I asked for my pancakes to be brought out before the rest of the food comes out because they get cold just sitting there waiting for the other food, but the waitress ignored my request and brought the pancakes out with the rest of the food and LOW AND BEHOLD (THE PANCAKES WERE COLD) so I had to send them back which seemed to be a problem. Then I had to send the undercooked eggs back which they just re-cooked the same eggs and still messed up my child’s eggs because he doesn’t want cheese. Then my child’s pancakes never came and I let the waitress know its been 15 minutes since you brought the food but my child is missing there pancakes.
There were only 2 waitresses to 15 people seated. People were leaving. This was ridiculous. I know Management has to know what’s happening at this location and If this is how you run your establishment you need to get a second Manager in there to help.
When I went to the register to pay, there was a long wait. I briefly seen the manager finally come out to the front but the Manager looked like she was sleeping in the back. All I can say is WOW!
I just didn’t feel like anyone cared about treating the customer like gold, usually I tip between $10 to $20 for a good waiter but this time I gave $0, that’s how bad it was. Manager or GM should do a better job making sure there is enough staff to service guest.
To add to the frustration, our waitress did not check on us throughout the meal and only spoke to us when presenting the check. The overall service lacked friendliness and attentiveness.
It's disheartening to see such a decline in service quality. IHOP needs to address the understaffing issue and ensure that employees are motivated and committed to providing excellent customer service. I hope they take steps to improve, as I cannot currently recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

As soon as we walked in, there were a lot of people waiting to just put their name down to be seated. That alone probably took around 30 minutes just so the host can write my name on a piece paper. Once we finally got seated down, the waitress asked what kind of drinks we wanted so we told her and then she also asked for our food order. We thought, “oh it’s great that she got our entire order already”. We were thinking, just like any other restaurant you go to, that we were going to get our drinks out first while we wait on our food. That was definitely not the case here though. We got our food out and the waitress was asking if we needed anything else. Like yeah how about our drinks? And she came up with the lame excuse of, “oh I was waiting for the food to come out so I can get your drinks out and the food doesn’t get cold.” Like what kind of excuse is that? Our food got cold regardless because after our food came out, we still had to wait like 15 minutes just to get drinks. We ordered coffee and then the waitress comes out with 4 creams. 4 creams isn’t enough for two coffees... and what about the sugar?? She didn’t bring any sugar and once we asked for sugar, we only got 5 sugars so we had to keep asking for more. After we finally got our drinks, we ate our food and then when it was time to pay she got our bill so quick and charged our card right away. Read moreMy experience at this IHOP location was extremely disappointing. My wife ordered a special Mother’s Day breakfast for delivery well in advance through IHOP’s official website. Immediately after placing the order, she realized the delivery was mistakenly set for 11:05 p.m. instead of the morning. She followed the instructions on the confirmation page and contacted the restaurant more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery, hoping to correct the mistake.
Instead of helping, IHOP staff directed her to DoorDash, who (as the delivery partner) could only cancel the order—not reschedule it. After the order was canceled, my wife made multiple calls to IHOP to request a refund. She was continually told only the manager could handle refunds, but the manager was never available. When she was finally able to speak with the manager several days later, the manager was unprofessional and rude, refusing to help and passing off responsibility to someone else. Eventually receiving a call from the assistant manager, she stated she wouldn't refund because doordash wouldn't refund--again passing the buck and blaming a third party service provider.
Despite clear evidence that the order was canceled nearly 12 hours before the scheduled delivery time—and no food was prepared—IHOP still charged us in full for both the meal and delivery. They have never issued a refund or offered a sincere apology despite our repeated and timely efforts.
I have never encountered such poor customer service, being misled and ignored at every step. Both IHOP’s staff and management failed to honor their own policies or treat us with respect. I would not recommend this location to anyone seeking fair treatment or...
