The new cashier forgot to give me the 20 dollars cash I requested and I didn't realize it until I got home. I went to the store the next day and asked for the manager. He didn't let me get the details out before he shoved a card at me and told me he couldn't do anything and to call Corporate. This so called manager had no people skills and treated a disabled senior customer with contempt. I asked him to check, that the cashiers till would have been 20 dollars over. He said only corporate could do that. I have seen for myself how all the manager and store personnel changes have effected this store in the quality and selection of produce and other items. It has really gone down hill in customer service. It is a real effort for me to even get to the store. I called the corporate number and left a message at the recording. Have not received a call back. I will not shop there unless desperate. Please get your manager training or make another management or policy change. I just kissed my 20 dollars goodbye! This is regarding your Ogden, Utah store,...
Read moreThe worst produce section I have seen in any Natural Grocers. Kale is always re-bundled and sorted, cut to pieces and stems cut off of all produce. They stick the bad leaves in the middle so you can't see them with out going through it all. Price is ridiculous for 8 leaves of Kale that will melt down to nothing when cooked. Kale bundles are too small can find better, bigger, cheaper at WM and Smiths. Parsley and Cilantro is always trimmed, hacked apart, and small bunches all sorted through, half thrown away. Rotting cauliflower, bad tomatoes and overpriced on onions. If the produce section is this bad and small at a health food store that is a problem. Items are often expired so be sure to check. Not many reasons to shop there except for those harder to find specialty items and a few monthly sales. Cashiers are slow and not friendly or welcoming. This is a sad excuse for a NG. I always liked NG and what they claimed they stood for. It's sad there are no other options near by like WF,...
Read moreWe shop here every weekend. Yesterday when we went to check out there was one cashier and the line went down into the isles. The cashier called for backup and a person came and opened the first register. We went and was third in line. He started by having a long conversation with the first couple that came to the register. As the second person placed their items on the belt, he put the closed register sign on the belt right in front of us. We had to go get back in the long line. As we got up to the front, the cashier said, Register one is open, and we said no he put up a closed register sign. We really love this store however if their customer service continues to be this bad we will be forced drive out of our way to get some of our groceries. I was extremely offended and upset by...
