Panda Express is my husband's favorite place to go, I normally don't eat there because I have a severe allergy to shellfish. One time when my husband went in he was talking to a manager there about my allergy and the manager said that they can cook the vegetables(the only thing that I order) seperatly whenever I go in so there won't be any cross contamination with the seafood. We have been in a few times and have ordered food to be made separately without a problem. Tonight I placed an online order for my husband to pick up (first time ordering this way) and when he arrived they were prepping the order, but the staff had no idea what to do about preparing food so there would be no cross contamination. They also thought that our order was an Uber Eats order, hence my low rating. Not because they were confused about our order being an Uber order, but by the fact that they were not going to prep the food so it wouldn't be contaminated. They were going to just scoop the vegetables that is right next to the shrimp in the container. Thank goodness my husband happened to be standing there to tell them that they can't give me those vegetables. If shrimp even touches it I could die. If a person who orders through Uber Eats has the same allergy that I do and needs their veggies or chicken prepared seperatly and an Uber driver, who doesn't know the customer, they are just there just to deliver, uber driver cant tell the staff to fix the order, the customer could die. This is serious. I realize that people will read this and think that I should just not eat some place that serves shrimp. That just is not possible. There are not very many places that don't serve shrimp. People like me rely upon these restaurants to train their staff on how to prep food so it is safe for people to eat. The staff tonight was really confused and didn't understand why they needed to prepare my food seperatly, except the trainee guy who kept nodding at my husband, but nobody was paying him any attention. My husband will continue to eat at Panda, but I won't be back. I hope a manager will see my review and come up with protocol to train to all their employees on what to do with food that needs to be prepared for...
Read moreI am a frequent customer here, but lately things have gone downhill. I don't know whats going on but lately this Panda Express has been low on supplies multiples times.
I've came in and asked for a two entree and one side TO GO and then was told that they had RUN OUT of the styrofoam plates and it had to be put into a bowl? The two entree and a side is one of the main deals that you supply, how do you run out of the MAIN thing you put your food in?!? You would think that who ever is in charge would think about having some in stock. Also, another time when I stopped by for my lunch break, I ordered and then payed for my food, I went to get some utensils and saw that there was none? I asked an employee for some more and was told that they had RUN OUT! I then ask for chopsticks instead... guess what, NO CHOPSTICKS. How does this happen? How do you run out of UTENSILS? As a FOOD restaurant how do you run out of these? How do you expect customers to eat without utensils? I am sure I am not the only one unsatisfied and frustrated by this.
It has come to my attention that there has been a change in managers and I assume that this lack of supplies is from this new manager. I am not sure what it takes to become a manager but one would think that in a food environment, the customers interests would be acknowledged and met, and the manager would supply the store with containers to eat from and utensils to eat with. This has never happened before in the multiple times I come here.
Overall, I am not satisfied in the new way this place is being ran and will be taking my...
Read moreI had an awful experience with this panda express today. I order my food online and selected the pickup ASAP option. The initial estimate told me that it would take approximately 20 minutes. Upon completion of my order, and after paying for it, the time to pickup changed from 20 minutes to 1 hour and 16 minutes. I called up the store to find out what was up. Nick spoke with me on the phone and told me that he would see what he could do to bump the order time up to only 30 minutes. This was great and my experience with Panda would have been 5 stars at this point. Picking up my food is where it went south. Pulling into the parking lot, I called the pickup number and sat through a 20 second recording of them telling me everything that is on their menu. Then it transferred me, it rang, someone answered, and hung up. I called again and the same thing happened. I called a third time, sat through the 20 second recording a third time and finally spoke with someone who brought my food out. Only after driving home and sitting down to eat did I notice that the food they gave me was incorrect. Frustrated I called Panda back up to express my frustration with the situation. I sat through the 20 second recording for a 4th time and asked to speak with the manager. The lady that answered asked me to wait on hold, which I did for 5 minutes before the call dropped. I called back, asked to speak with the manager again, and finally got in touch with a female who said they were the manager. I explained what was up and she said "okay" and then hung up. I will not be visiting this...
