Ocean Mart — Local services in Ogden

Usually, we go to our trusted Ocean Mart in Roy for our shopping needs. However, this time, we decided to check out the new Ogden location, We went there on the day of the grand opening of their new restaurants. The Lion dance and Japanese drums were so amazing, my kids and I thoroughly enjoyed the music and culture. Unfortunately the new restaurants were incredibly busy. So, we made a plan to give it another shot the very next day. We were glad we did!

One of the highlights of our visit was trying the mochi donuts at Mochinut. Let me tell you, they were absolutely amazing! The texture was slightly chewier than a regular donut, and the flavors weren't overly sweet. It was such a pleasant balance, resulting in a fluffy and delicious treat. Of course, we couldn't resist trying the different boba options they had available there. And let me just say, each one was delicious in its own right. Unfortunately, they had run out of corn dogs, but that didn't stop us from exploring further.

We decided to grab some savory delights from Little Thai Kitchen. We indulged in their shrimp fried rice and beef and meatballs pho, and both dishes exceeded our expectations. And to top it off, we picked up a variety of buns from Kitty's Family Dumplings. The red bean, BBQ pork, and shu mai buns were all so flavorful and satisfying. What struck us was the size of the new store. It was much bigger than the one in Roy, and we noticed they had a greater selection of bulk foods. It was a pleasant surprise.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience at the Ogden location. We'll definitely be making more trips to explore the various restaurants and indulge in the scrumptious food they have to offer. If you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. You won't be...

So glad they have so many vegetables and wonderful things like water spinach, many diff types and sizes of okra, bok choy, gai lin, so many mushrooms and so many wonderful choices for vegetables and fruits. So happy with selections and varieties of healthy real whole food.. Ocean Mart is really one of the best Oriental Stores anywhere all over the USA besides HMart and actually may have more of a selection then them. Very wonderful different type noodles can always find a healthy option. Incense best selections and prices.

Someone, the buyers and families really know what they are doing and have so many different ancient Asian medicinal herbs, teas, and health tonics and more. Really recommend and why would you go anywhere else if you know Asian food and there is always more to learn for even anyone white or any race. Why are the prices different between the other one in Roy and here? Not the same selection either maybe they are even in a competition? The cashier's aren't the friendliest though some are at least nice. Music is loud and can be jarring to senses and interesting too. The electronic beats are good. Good veggie selection but sometimes goes bad too fast Very good selection of all else. Happy with selection but would like more still like more Indian, Southeast Asian selection.

Prices could use some improvement. Hard to find certain things the aisles and ordering and categorizing is still getting wonked out. Glad it's here would be so sad if it wasn't here for some variety and excitement of different choices. Sad name. ...

went to the grand opening for the restaurants in ocean mart today, i tried mochinut and pinky’s. i had this plate featured down below from pinky’s which is pancit and beef steak. the pancit had little to no flavor and the noodles seemed like it was old. the beef steak was absolutely disgusting. the beef steak smelled rancid and tasted like liver which it isn’t supposed to taste that way. portions were kinda small too and it varied from plate to plate. pinky’s was a total letdown. but mochinut was good and definitely deserves recognition. i had the matcha, brown sugar, and ube bobas which was really good but for $7 each you don't get much. i tasted all the doughnuts that was there which was maple, churro, strawberry, matcha, original, and chocolate. all were good but there wasn't much flavor for the strawberry doughnut but was still really good. wish i could say better things about pinky's but it was just not good and i recommend staying away from there. Ocean mart is always so amazing. we love ocean mart just not the restaurant that just opened today in ocean mart...
