This one's for Aubrey at ROAM Skin Wellness... I stumbled upon this magical space the very moment I'd set my intention on getting to the bottom of some recent pain and stress I'd been experiencing in my face and neck. Weird pains I've never felt before. Pains, I'm guessing, enhanced by having been evacuated several times in California's most recent wildfires. Aubrey greeted me like she expected me, and when I explained to her what I was feeling, she offered to clear some time for me the same day to see if she could help. I still don't know what to call what I experienced with her - technically I think it was a facial - but whatever she did in my short time with her felt like a skin reset! I'm normally insecure about having someone put such deep focus on my face in a treatment, but I felt so at ease and trusted her completely! Hands down, this was the best spa experience ever! It was part of our girls trip. After all our outdoor hiking and rock climbing, the spa just put a beautiful bow on the weekend experience.
