Ill start off by saying this. My mother came in just yesterday. Shes been coming for a couple weeks now. And she was a tad bit late this time, which she says many of others come in late all the time. And the instructor that was teaching came up to my mother, and asked if she had a medical condition. As my mother told her her knees were bad at that. The lady continued to asked my mother to leave with no reason. And made my mother look like a fool in front of people. As she proceeded to tell her to leave as my mother paid to be there. She had everyone looking at her as if she was a criminal or something. As my mom is in her 50 the audacity to even do that pretty much tell her to get out and as she leaves the lady locks the door as if shes about to do something bad. Like im appalled and frustrated im writing this to whoever will read. And yes my mother is African American, and my mother would never bring this up but to say shes the only other black woman that goes in there she says she only ever sees one other African American. I hate to bring in the race card as i have many multi cultural friends and family. I am sickened that someone would try to humiliate a person because they are late, or the color of their skin. Then locks the doors on a paying customer. I wish no one would go here to experience this. This is horrible and i will find the instructions name. Because this isn't right. Never will i ever reccomend this place to anyone. Im so mad that i heard this at 6 in the morning im beyond ready to call the GM or owner. This is sick and you need to be out of Oklahoma Theres no time for that here as...

Yoga mats and blocks are available for you to use if you don't have one and the instructions are easy to follow. If you are new to yoga, simply tell the instructor and he/she will be more than willing to check on your poses throughout the class.
Hot yoga, as the name implies, is done in a very warm environment as they turn on the heaters all around the perimeter of the space. You can stay in the middle of the room if you don't want to be too warm along the walls.
Anyway, having practice yoga on and off for the last two years, hot yoga is a nice alternative way. Being in a warm space, your muscles warm and loosen up faster. Do hydrate well as you will be perspiring alot. And bring a towel as you will be...
Read moreBalance. Yoga. Barre. Is simply and effective! They offer classes all the above and more. I truly love that they offer classes in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Especially love their weekend selection as I often am unable to make midday workouts.
They provide mats, balance balls, weights, bands, and really anything you need to enjoy the class.
I attend the 8th street market location which offers a restroom but no water fountain. They offer changing rooms inside the studio. The staff is always friendly and they are experts at what they do.
If your considering, they have free...
