Started a new gig down town. Dropped in the shop next door to get some coffee. I decided to pop in this shop. I figured being downtown I wanted to see how high their prices were. Honestly, I just thought with a locale like this they had to have high prices to make rent, no ill intent. I went in and was greeted by a guy. I'm a scruffy dude and not you're typical patron of this type of store and it became obvious pretty quick. He asked what I was looking for and I told him I was just looking to see how high their prices were. The guy got defensive and said that the prices were competitive with anything online. I joked that the stuff must be higher quality than anything I would buy and I will quote what he said next: "Sounds like you're in the wrong store." Now that I think about it, he was right. It's a shame too because they did have expensive stuff but I could have seen finding something in there my wife would have liked...

Very disrespectful costumer service. Myself and family were strolling through the store, sat down on a couch and chair and were talking for a moment when a lady came up and told us to get off because we weren’t trying to buy the products. She had absolutely ZERO clue if we were or not, just assumed and told us to get off… the polite and correct way to talk to a customer would be to ask first and TRY and sell us your product? My guess is we didn’t look like her typical wealthy clients to afford such a place therefore assumptions were made about our intentions. I own multiple properties around the metroplex and am always on the look out for quality, comfortable pieces. Scott and the team at Urbane Home & Lifestyle are amazing. We had a big order coming in and decided to redo our floors in the midst of it. I was scrambling to make the timings line up since everything had to be out of the house. Urbane accommodated my request for delivery delay with no fuss (mind you I pretty much called the day it was supposed to be delivered) and held on to it until I was ready.
