I was caught off guard by my husband parking here and being like, "it's like a sensory-art-museum-thing, want to go?" I agreed because that's a pretty fun (and accurate) description. I entered with a clipboard for the scavenger hunt and immediately turned around and put it back. Maybe we'll do it next time but I was ready to do some fuzzy wall stroking. They kick it off with a bang in this earthy, magical playground in the first room. The vibe can only be described as a come-up. I don't want to give away any of the surprises you're rewarded with for your exploring, but they do not disappoint. My husband noticed a lot of people weren't wearing their 3D glasses. To each their own but I feel like it's probably easier to be fully immersed and feel plugged in with the glasses on. There was a dude in the group ahead of us that was real negative and complaining to his friends so I would recommend going with just 1 or 2 others. Definitely don't bring, "that guy." I also recommend exercising caution when going down that white slide. I got air. But the whole experience feels like a warm, wonderful safe trip. I can't decide what my favorite part was, I just know that we really felt happy and and grateful for the experience upon leaving. Also, there is a video screen and it shows real time footage of people walking around this trippy room with a payphone. Someone picked up the phone and we were able to talk to them! We searched and couldn't find the room so we're convinced it's a room at their synesthesia exhibit in norman. Guess we'll have to go and find out! Great stuff in the gift shop and staff was smart, funny, and friendly. Definitely worth the twenty bucks admission. This place is a must go. Make sure you peek in all the nooks, crannies, drawers and trash cannies cause there really are endless, satisfying surprises around...

Read moreMy wife and I visited here. Due to the reviews, we expected it to be pretty cool. But to be real honest, neither of us got this place at all. We both love art; we didn't love this. If we'd have been told, before going in, that this place was entirely decorated by elementary children we'd have been pretty impressed. To think that adults did it, we were left completely underwhelmed. I could write a very long narrative about why, but suffice it to say, this just isn't our thing.... especially at $17.00 per person (which I feel was about $16.50 per person too much). We went through the whole "exhibit" (if that's what you'd call it) in about 20 minutes or less. So at almost $1.00 per person per minute, no, I'm not impressed. I mean, the Oklahoma City Science Museum is only $16.95 per person, and you can spend the better part of a day there. Likewise, the word "interactive", as far as we are concerned, is a term they are using very liberally.....
Everyone was nice, and I can see where little kids might enjoy it (which is why we gave it 2 stars instead of just 1), but yeah, it's just not "art" in any way, shape or form.... as far as the 2 of us are concerned.
Apparently, plenty of people do like this place, and that's great. Again, it just totally didn't do it for us. So, if you go and you love it, Kudos! If you go and are like us and think "What the bleepity bleep did we just pay to go see???", well, just don't be completely shocked. This is definitely one of those places you're either going to love or hate. For us, 'love' definitely isn't what...
