I read all the amazing reviews here and made an appt for my mother and I to get manicures and pedicures. I chose a color even before getting here based on a picture posted here on yelp of a fellow client's nails done at this salon. Upon arrival I was told immediately that they had no idea what color was used and that there was no way I could get the same color done on toes and fingers. Then they said the color was done by mixing two colors but no one would help me figure out which two to mix to achieve this color. I'd never mixed nail polish colors before. When two Caucasian ladies walked in to the salon they asked me figure out what color I wanted and to get on with it. They then left to attend to the new clients. I said I was willing to pay for the foot soak, and I'd just go buy a polish and paint myself since the staff and owner were unwilling to use the color they'd used on the previous client who had posted a photo of her manicure. They told me that they'd charge me for a full pedicure whether they polished my nails or not. So then they started painting with no regard to how my nails would look. In the middle of the second toe, I pointed out that it was looking quite streaky...they said that this is what happens when you mix colors. I remained confused since I was told that I'd need to mix two colors to achieve the look their client posted pictures of. Bea was super rude to me the entire time, and there seemed to be a stark difference in the way she treated me vs any other client walking through the doors. I've never had such an awful experience at a nail salon. Manicures and pedicures are a real treat for me rather than a weekly maintenance service, so spending $30 to have nails that end up the way mine did really makes me sad. It's also hurtful to be treated so poorly for seemingly no good reason. I would tell anyone who is considering patronizing this business to instead support a nail salon that actually believes in good customer...
Read moreI called ahead for availability for a full set and a pedi, this place closes at 7 and i was there at 3, "Bea" did my full set around 4 and rushed the whole set and told me at around 4:45 she had 20 minutes after i had told her she was leaving HUGE gaps in my solar set on the sides and i just requested she fix it because i was unhappy mind you this is during the procces not after she was completely done she then proceeded to tell me that she was not going to finish and made me cry because i dont have the time to just get them done whenever i have 3 kids and just had a baby a month ago yesterday... She charged me $55 for a plain french set of solar nails after going agead and finishing what she started and i paid because she made me feel like i was making her late when they dont even close till 7 and it was 5:15 when she rushed and finished my nails... She argued with me for 10 minutes about if i wanted a tip or if i wanted my natural nail i wanted a tip and when she rushed my tip thus the gap on the side of either side which she charged extra for... Shes real hateful... Best of luck to you all i wouldnt suggest this place...
Read moreYou know how when you find someone who does an excellent job, you never want to go anywhere else? The one stylist who makes your hair look incredible every time? The plumber who actually fixes things the first time and shows up when he says he will? You go back or hire them again and again and you wouldn't work with anyone else. You feel like you've found a treasure. Well, this is one of those businesses. Diem & Bea are the women that usually do my pedicures, and they do an incredible job. However, all the manicures and pedicures I have gotten there have been fantastic. It is a relaxing experience in a really lovely and exceptionally clean salon. The women there are genuinely friendly and make the experience very enjoyable. Their services are well-priced. Yes, there are a lot of options out there for manis/pedis, but you aren't going to have the same level of experience or quality at other places. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I always leave looking and feeling better than when I walked in....
