6th Sense Gym — Local services in Ontario

By far one of, if not THE best gym in IE. Most people who leave bad reviews is because 1) they have personal agendas 2) they want an empty gym all to themselves Personally, everything this gym offers ticks off my boxes: 24/7, clean, and top tier machinery and equipment. When I started here I was told they'd be expanding and adding a sauna, and guess what? Less than a year after the sauna and extension were built and they upgraded lights, machines and more. The owners Erika and Mario are wonderful! Nothing feels better than supporting a self-owned, family business. You see Mario's parents constantly there helping keep the areas clean, all the way to working on the lighting and more. It's a very tight knit group from what I can tell, and even for someone like me who doesn't like to interact I feel comfortable. If anything the only thing I ever have an issue with is going late at night and other people leaving the door open. As a woman it feels very unsettling knowing just anyone can come in, especially since at night there's not that many people. But that has more to do with the gym goers who can't read the 'CLOSE DOOR BEHIND YOU' sign.

I would like to see more of this gym expand even further, it has a lot of potential and is definitely a diamond in the rough. The owners are protective of their business (as they should be) and constantly trying to make things better. I couldn't ask for a better gym 💪🏽💪🏽

Also forgot to mention that I love that they did most of the work for the expansion themselves! They obviously care about their business a lot and had specific goals for what they wanted. Lots of respect for that and everything they...

Allow the owners response to validate what I am about to say. This gym is completely disgusting and should be avoided at all cost. It’s ran by personal trainers with no management so they do as they please, disregarding all of the “‘members” that pay a hefty membership for a “private” gym. Not sure what’s so private about it since anyone and everyone can sign up as long as they pay and get screwed over. The owner, Mario, is far more concerned with belittling and embarrassing people on his IG stories and even encouraging other members to “remove” a person that was working out there without a membership. He offered them an incentive for removing the person from the gym… that sounds like he’s enabling an altercation, which is extremely unprofessional of him but what do we expect from Mario? The rest of his time is spent trashing other gyms (which don’t even know he exists because he puts himself on a pedestal to feel bigger than he is, literally and figuratively…) overall, Mario is a joke, the gym is way too packed and too small for the 1500 people there at once, and Mario will screw you over OR put you on blast on his IG stories. Super Gym! Has very advanced and durable equipment that you will not find at any other gym nearby, really clean and can offer some really good trainers. I chose to train with (Drew) which I’ve been training for a few months, he does really well with showing me proper form, pushing me when necessary, and helps hold me accountable, I have been able to make really great progress in a fair amount of time. This gym is starting to get kinda packed which can be a bummer sometimes but I can see why it would, lucky to have found a awesome trainer that is actually passionate and knowledgeable of his career.
