The Beach Store — Local services in Orange Beach

I was really glad I stopped into the store. It looked similar to the big chain stores, but what I like the most is, it’s owned and operated locally, and the associates are so kind and helpful really helping you get what you need whether they have it or not. I would absolutely make a point on future trips to go here first before I go anywhere else, including Walmart to make any purchases Beach related. I wanted to give credit to the specific young lady that helped me on January 7 but her name is no longer visible on my receipt so if the management could look up sales receipt number 77455 on January 7 they will know who the associate was that did such an awesome job of taking care of me. Also, the quality of their beach towels was much better than I’ve seen anywhere else along the shore, which is what I was looking for. I didn’t want a cheap souvenir. Just shopped there today, floor staff was friendly and helpful. However, when checking out, maybe the potential owner/manager, was incredibly rude to her staff. My wife even took up for the young gentleman. Berating your staff in front of your customer is deplorable and all people should be treated with respect even at a job. I went there yesterday and bought a pair of HUK slip on shoes. We went to the beach today and when we were leaving I noticed the sole was coming loose. I was bummed because they were really comfortable and I didn't keep my receipt. I took them back and showed them to the owner. She replaced them and gave me the old ones back. I couldn't believe it.
