Bassett Furniture — Local services in Orange

We ordered a sectional from Basset 3 years ago and had nothing but issues from day 1. The couch was damaged on delivery, after waiting months for it to arrive they convince you to keep it and assure you someone will come out to fix it. What they don't tell you is that the lead time on receiving any parts, fabric, etc that they might need is over 120 days. If you reject the couch at delivery, do not expect an expedited re-delivery, its the same wait time all over again (currently at 18 weeks +). Any time you call in because their cheaply made furniture breaks, do not expect to see any results for 120+ days. They also don't always ship the part to your home, so it gets shipped to the store.. if the store sees an issue with the new part (which happened to us), then you have to wait an additional 120 days! We used to love Basset brand and the majority of our furniture is Basset but I can assure you that the quality from 10 years ago was miles above the junk that they are pushing out of their doors right now. Save yourself the headache, aggravation, and time... buy your furniture from...

My husband and I I were looking for a headboard. We stopped in Bassett furniture store and we met Sharon who was nothing short of just phenomenal. She was extremely patient. She was extremely helpful. She was extremely experienced in helping us to decide what we could do as far as a customized headboard was concerned. we had no idea that the process was so easy, Sharon made that possible with her expertise and knowledge . Sharon’s customer service was so comfortable, she made us feel like we had known her for a long time. The down payment was easy and then they delayed our delivery per our instructions because of some construction that was going on in our home, Basset Company was so easy to do business with. Fantastic!! The place looks a bit under the weather from the outside, no landscaping, over growth of weeds and the lines for parking spaces are so faded the building looks abandoned, vacant at the very least, BUT upon entering my first impression was immediately diminished by a crisp, clean showroom with a perfect designer center. I was also fortunate enough to have met Sharon Lynn, a designer representative for Bassett who rocks!! She was quick to understand what brought me to the store and how I operate. She also has to be most simultaneously warm, disarming and inviting person I have ever met, while also being extraordinarily well versed in design, product information and professionalism.
