I have a question regarding Saberforge orders and Customer Service and if possible would like to receive some answers.
To whomever reads the following.
Hi, I have recently ordered an Elite Emerald Knight 32" Neopixel blade Lightsaber with Hero electronics. At first I chose Saberforge due to their wide variety of custom product Sabers on their site. Prior to making my choice I had made some research on the company and seemed to have been pleased with their services offered. Once my order had been placed, due to my excitement, I decided to continue my research upon the service and stumbled upon several video and posts on social media regarding their products and poor customer service which led me to question my lack of knowledge research upon the company in depth.
My questions lie here hoping they would be answered and allow my stress and possible regret upon my choice to be silenced down.
For starters, has anyone recently (during the covid-19 times) ordered a high quality Saber from Saberforge, meaning having a full set up including an Elite/Crystal/Exotic hilt as well as a Neopixel blade and Veteran/Champion/Hero electronics? And if so, would you like to tell me how your whole experience went with their service and how ur Saber turned out so far to this day? And/Or any other concerns, worries or negative feedback I or anyone else it my position would possibly like to hear before placing their orders?
Secondly, if you have placed any other orders not matching my description above, what was your order and how was you services as well as any other feedback you'd like to share for other future customers.
The reason I ask of this is simply because after researching other brands and companies on the market, I am afraid I'm one of the many customers who HAVE well in the whole and have been scammed or not treated rightfully in ordering from Saberforge and I hope someone here can bring me light and relieve me from the stress I feel from having placed my order too soon. I simply fear that I have made a mistake with choosing this company and being that I have placed a fare amount of money into this Saber I hope nothing will be me to loosing my money and/or regretting having purchased from them.
Now while reading and hopefully responding to this, some might urge to mention that I can simply contact them in regards of answering my questions and to be frank with all of you, I'd just like to point out that from the many reviews I have read thus far regarding their poor customer service and policies, I fear that dealing with them face on right away will only result in worsening my situation with my order.
Finally, if anyone who has read this far and is touched personally by this post could possibly reply back to me (wheither you'veorderedfrom them or not) and hopefully bring me incite or any knowledge/experience to guide me. I would greatly appreciate it and you as well.
To whomever sees this and reads all of it, thank you for your time and I hope someone/anyone can help me find my answers and provide me further suggestion for the...
Read moreI've been wanting a higher quality lightsaber for years. I've accumulated a collection of cheaper knock offs, and some hasbro black series sabers. We had moved up to the pacific northwest recently and I was excited to see an actual store within 30 minutes away. We drove out to SaberForge the first time, and they were closed for lunch. It was raining, and we had other commitments thay day. Big disappointment.
Jump forward to today. Its my birthday. We traveled from Vancouver Washington and checked out ANOTHER lightsaber store on the way (Docking Bay 45. More about them in a bit). We approached Saberforge and there's a group of people showing off their newly bought sabers. Thats a good sign. Walk in, no one greets us or even acknowledge us. We start looking at the sabers all displayed, and they're all lit up, but no sounds. And whats nuts is some of them are too hot to touch. Like they're just always plugged in and overheating. The clerk was helping a kid for a bit, but then it was just and him. He never once walked over to greet us, never once said "if you need anything let me know". I felt like i was in someone's house and I wasn't invited. Eventually I walk over and ask him a couple of questions. I get the most basic monotone answers. I asked him if if they have replicas of a ton of characters, which is more of my jam. The guy didnt have anything and whats worse he didnt offer an alternative. It was some of the shittiest and laziest customer service ive ever had. My wife isnt even to the saber stuff and she was pissed for me after we left. So the clerk basically offers no information or help, and then when I made a 2nd pass, he doesn't help. He just disappears. No "ill be back". He just dips out. We awkwardly call out "ok thanks for your time." No reply.
I mean honestly, and lightsaber store should be full of magic and imagination. Thats why people want to go to Savi's station at Disney. They want to feel like a jedi getting their own saber, especially for kids. This guy had a low midiclorian count, and this was not the store I was looking for.
Back to Docking Bay 45. That place was legit what I wanted. The guy was so helpful and full of life and wonder and friendly. I didnt get a saber there because I assumed saber forge was "the better one". Man was i wrong and im pissed I didnt go back to Docking Bay. The guy there even helped me learned some twirls. Next week ill choose the light side. Not the dark that...
Read moreI purchased my first ever lightsaber this past weekend, and I was fortunate enough to do so via Saberforge's showroom in Oregon City, OR. I'd been lurking on their website for quite some time, and as a belated birthday present to myself this year I decided it was time to take the plunge on what has the potential to be a dangerous new hobby for my wallet.
The showroom itself is immaculately clean, with almost every model of saber they offer on display, available to handle and swing around as their store is purposefully wide and open to allow for... how to say... "testing" the sabers. Maria, the lady behind the counter who helped me that day, was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and gave ready recommendations to me and my friends who had joined me; she encouraged us to play around with various models we'd been eyeing, and even walked us through the install of the Eco line RGB electronics once we had chosen our preferred saber hilts. She had offered to also do it for us, but we were honestly enthusiastic about learning how these were assembled in final steps, it felt kind of like we were building our own sabers, very satisfying for long-time Star Wars fans. She seemed genuinely excited for us to learn as well.
And, suffice to say, the price is hard to beat. I got a full-featured saber with multiple sound fonts and the ability to change the blade color for less than $250, a saber which could ALSO be used for dueling as none of the electronics are in the blade. For the craftsmanship in the hilts and the user-friendly nature of configuring these sabers, that price tag was a great value. Throw the fact that Saberforge is a local (for-me) business, and I felt great not just with the saber I selected (Eco Gladius, btw), but with my experience in the store as a whole.
I am blown away with the excellent quality of the saber, and my wife is already lurking the site for our next inevitable trip so she, too, can be the Jedi she knows she is.
All this to say: Saberforge provides high quality products for excellent prices, and both the website and showroom provide top-tier shopping experiences. If you happen to be in the Portland area, the hop over to Oregon City is worth it to see the showroom. Hell, I drove three hours from Central Oregon to see it, and will gladly do so again.
Big thanks to Saberforge for an excellent lightsaber and...
