I never expected to lose money on a card. I bought a card being told it was “very near mint” being checked by the owner and even sold above market price ($22) but bought it for $25, YES $3 above market for a damaged card. I wish I realized the card was damaged before giving it to my cousin. There is no way it could’ve been damaged in transit on the way to his birthday, I put it in my binder right away. I have been in the hobby of Pokemon for many many years but have never experienced anything like this. All I really want is my money back especially after my cousin was so disappointed but, knowing there’s no way to prove that the card wasn’t damaged in transit I’m stuck knowing I should’ve just checked and not trusted the owner’s word. $3 over MP for a MP card makes me extremely sad, never ever had this experience with anyone. This is an excellent spot for trading card game enthusiasts! We love coming here to play Commander for Magic: The Gathering. The shop offers a welcoming and comfortable environment — always clean, with great air circulation (perfect for sweater weather!). The rooftop view overlooking the street adds a nice touch, and having two bathrooms available is super convenient. The snack and drink selection is great, with plenty of options to keep you fueled during long game sessions. Their booster pack variety is impressive, and the organized 10-cent bulk section makes browsing easy and enjoyable. Prices on preconstructed decks are very reasonable, and it’s an overall fantastic place to meet up with friends and play Magic, Pokémon, or Disney Lorcana.
