This store is not Dasher friendly. Arrived at the store to pick up and they told me it was going to be a 7 minute delay as they had not even started the order yet. So I waited, and 10 minutes later I went to check on the order and they told me they still didn't have it ready, and then when I asked how much longer it was going to be they said they don't know and it's still not started yet. As I was walking away, the same rude person who told me 7 minutes said if you can't wait somebody else will pick it up. Sometimes I wish that they would have their pay deducted for every order that they don't have ready within 10 minutes of the promised time AND don't communicate that, so that they would understand that wasting a dasher's time like that means that they make less money. They wasted 15 minutes of my time which is an entire extra delivery of money I will not make tonight. Additionally unassigning an order for a long wait time penalizes the Dasher as well. With all of that and this brute had the audacity to catch an attitude while I was being polite, and said if you can't wait, someone else will pick it up(and then started laughing at me with her employees as I was leaving). Absolutely ignorant behavior.
Follow up: I called, and the Manager name is Jojo, and she is the employee referenced in my review. Will be pushing this further. As a manager, she should know the actual wait of how backed up the restaurant is, and be able to accurately reflect that info to the Dasher with respect so that they as subcontractors can make the decision whether the wait is worth the pay or not, not string them along with inaccurate information. This was not a high pay enough order to warrant 30-45 minutes going up past winter park. Again, if the restaurant is backed up, that's understandable, but not accurately informing the delivery person and giving them an attitude because they are overwhelmed is not.

Read moreFirst of all let me start by saying that one of our main highlights when visiting Orlando is to come to Sus Hi. We usually go to the UCF location and we completely love it. Unfortunately it is not the case at this location. We came in so excited for the food and we were left..shocked.
Portion sizes are completely stingy. I’d be more than happy to pay for extra but when I receive 4 pieces of tempura chicken I do not know what to say. The bowl come with..rice. And pretty much that was it because the person that helped was maybe scared to actually give the correct portions. This is probably the biggest upset of them all. I got excited over having my wrap fried and I was looking forward to it. Well.. it wasn’t the case. First off the initial wrap that they did exploded in the frier which is understandable of course, but then I had to wait 20 minutes for them to make a new one. I came in with my girlfriend and we couldn’t enjoy the food at the same time. You would think the staff would be more attentive since something happened but no, they were too busy to check in with me and let me know what was going on. I got up to ask myself what is going on because of the time it’s taking and the response I got was “it just came out”. That’s it. One employee by far stood up and apologize for the wait and inconvenience and offered a free appetizer. The new wrap was missing some of the sauces I initially asked for and at this point I’m not even sure if it had everything I originally asked for because they never asked me again, they only checked with me the proteins.
Very very poorly trained staff on all levels. From the portions of protein and toppings to handling customer issues. I am not coming back to this location because it left a bad taste.
Also please bring back the atmosphere when they welcome the guests. There was a mumble with “welcome ninjas” that definitely is not what Sus...
Read moreWe had a friend come back into town for a visit. She had moved away from Orlando, and one of the things that she missed the most were these deep fried sushi burritos. So every time she comes back for a visit, we inevitably come to a Sus-Hi Eatstation for one of our meals.
We had never been to this location before, so we thought we'd explore a little bit. Loved the location. Being so close to the Mills 50 intersection is prime real estate. Ambiance was the coolest I've seen in one of these. Video game station, board games to play, nerd art for sale everywhere. Really neat.
Service was fine. There's no real service anymore, as Sus-Hi's have gone to the kiosk, so meal accuracy is always high, but it just stinks, taking away that human element. The speed of the meal was questionable, but I also realize that the four of us all ordered fried elements, and they probably only have so many fryers back there.
But anyway, when the food itself got out to us, it was the same excellent quality that Sus-Hi always puts out. The burrito was fried to perfection. Such a perfect crisp on the outside, not greasy at all, and through some ninja sorcery, all of the fillings stay held in place solidly, no shifting or spillage. A modern feat of engineering.
I also got to try one of their cold noodle bowls, which is one of my favorite items of theirs right now. Those cold noodles hold on to the sauces very well, but don't absorb them too much, muting their flavor, so you get a lot of flavor in every bite. Add in some tempura fried proteins to get some great texture in your meal. Love that Triple X sauce.
Overall, I've had a love-hate relation with Sus-Hi over the years, but I just can't quit them. I'll be back. I...
