If I could give zero stars, I would!!
The experience my mother and grandmother had at Men’s Wearhouse in Orlando was absolutely disgraceful — and the person responsible is Manager DARRELL.
My mother came in to return a suit that was purchased just a week ago, completely unworn, but too large. Yes, the tags had been removed, but we had the receipt, and under Men’s Wearhouse policy, as long as the suit isn’t worn or altered, it should be eligible for return — and this one wasn’t.
At first, the interaction was polite. But the second she mentioned wanting to return the suit, Darrell’s attitude flipped completely. He became combative, argumentative, and unprofessional. He claimed it was up to him whether it was worn (it clearly wasn’t), and instead of discussing options respectfully, he slammed his hand onto the receipt, said, “store credit only,” and when my mother said she needed a refund, he refused and stormed off — leaving her and my elderly grandmother standing there for over 30 minutes without assistance.
It didn’t end there. Both my mom and grandmother speak Ukrainian, and I strongly believe there was an element of discrimination involved, layered on top of the already unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. They were dismissed, ignored, and treated with clear disrespect.
This is not how you treat paying customers — especially not in a store that markets itself on service, dignity, and formality. Manager Darrell does not embody any of those values, and frankly, he should not be in a customer-facing role.
Do better, Men’s Wearhouse. Because this? This...

I recently had the misfortune of visiting the Men's Wearhouse, and let me tell you, this experience was nothing short of appalling. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a scowl rather than a smile. The associate on duty seemed more interested in his phone than in providing any semblance of customer service. I can only assume he thought scrolling through social media was more important than assisting actual customers.
After awkwardly standing at the register for what felt like an eternity, staring at the back of this guy’s head while he was glued to his screen, I couldn’t help but feel utterly disrespected. It was only when another associate or possibly his manager finally had to remind him that he had customers waiting that he begrudgingly decided to ring us up. I mean, seriously? How hard is it to acknowledge someone standing right in front of you?
The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy left a sour taste in my mouth. This was not just a simple oversight; it was a glaring example of how little this place values its customers. If you want to feel appreciated and respected, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this establishment. I definitely won’t be returning, and I’ll be sure to share this experience with anyone who will listen. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere that actually cares about...
Read moreI had a truly disappointing experience at the Men’s Warehouose on 2606 E Colonial Dr, Orando, FL. When I first approached the manager, Darrell, about returning a suit I had purchased just a week ago, he was polite and professional. However, the moment he overheard me speaking my native language with my mom, his attitude completely changed. He suddenly refused the return, claiming that because the tags were removed, it was at manager’s discretion, even though the suit was unworn and unaltered. Darrel left us waiting multiple times, and it was only after I called corporate from the store that he finally processed the refund. The entire experience left us feeling that we were treated unfairly and that his change in demeanor was directly tied to us speaking another language. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I hope that management addresses this behavior so that no other customers have to experience it. P.S. If you ever need to return something at Men’s Warehouse: their written policy allows returns within 90 days, even without tags, as long as the item is unworn and unaltered and you have your receipt. “Manager discretion” only applies to worn or altered clothing, not tag removal alone. Don’t be afraid to calmly stand your ground or call corporate while you’re in the store. You’re within your rights, and you deserve to be treated...
