Great inventory for both new and used. I found everything I was looking for only concern I have is during the check out process. The clerk offered to hold my items up front so I could continue to shop which I liked. What I disliked was that he took all the sales tags off and put everything into bags prior to me being done shopping. I was purchasing everything pre-owned (so these items were all in the consignment area). When I got to the register to check out it appeared the stack of price tags (so the number of price tags in the stack) were more then the actual articles I was buying. I questioned the clerk and made him remove all of the items from the bags and we spent a good 10 minutes matching each item to each tag to ensure I was paying what I thought I was paying for each item and no additional sales tags were "accidentally" included in my bundle of tags. I'm not accusing anybody of adding tags into my bundle. It's just odd to me to remove all of the tags and bag everything prior to the customer actually paying. What if I had changed my mind on some items because I found something else I liked during my shopping process? Just strange to me that tags would all be removed and all my items bagged even before I pay for everything. (I was the only one in the store) The clerk apologized for any misunderstanding, he apologized 3 times so thought that was a little odd too. I encourage shoppers to beware and pay attention to your purchases. Know your prices before going to register in the event all of your tags are removed and bagged prior to you getting to cashier. Overall this store has very nice products both new and on their consignment for kids and adults. Just watch it when you go to check out. I will go back again in the future and will watch closely at time...
Read moreHad a last minute trip, purchased some last minute ski pants, let the guy know I wasn’t sure about them. There weren’t many pants my size (either too long or tight on my hips but not on my waist), the closest ones were a white pair. I didn’t want the white pants but I got them cause it was so last minute, and I thought I could return them if they didn’t work out.
Got my receipt that was already faded - guess the printer didn’t have much ink.
The guy who helped me knew I was leaving for a trip and that I wasn’t sure about my purchase, but didn’t point out the 5 day return policy, which is rather unusual/unexpected in 2023.
It says in the faded receipt that it’s a 5 day policy, but it’s so faded I sure didn’t notice that.
Just came back from the trip, went to the store and tried to return the clean, unused pants with label and found out I can only get store credit. I tried to explain the situation but it was of no help.
I bought close to $1000 worth products prior to my trip, so I don’t really know what I could use the credit store for. Plus, I relocated 4 hours from here. I guess I was hoping for a bit more transparency, honesty and understanding. And a full refund for the above mentioned pants.
I thought it would be cool to support a local business, as opposed to my friends who buy they ski clothing on Amazon. I’m not sure this was the right...
Read moreI had a small crack that needed to be repaired on my new SUP that was damaged on shipping from another vendor. Ski World advertises on their website that they offer professional repair services for SUPs. However my small crack turned into an art project for Jackson. Not only was the crack NOT PROPERLY REPAIRED by Ski World but the contrasting paint color over the repair was a complete FAIL. And the paint was a 6x8 inch square to cover a quarter sized crack! Why?? -- I've updated this review with a picture to show the final repair that I did MYSELF to prove that it isn't magic to get a color match for paint (thank you Sherwin-Williams in Lake Mary) and repair the crack, it only requires minimal skills that Ski World is lacking. To be clear, I did not choose to pay Ski World to have my SUP returned to me in worse shape than when I gave it to them with a large contrasting patch of paint, and the original crack was STILL VISIBLE under the badly matched paint. Ski World represented it could make the repair and they could not, and did not. Instead of owning up to the fact that this was a poorly executed (non) repair, the explanation provided shows that Ski World doesn't understand why I was extremely disappointed with...
