Bad experience!!!! Unprofessional!! I reserved 6 jet skis the manager called like n hour and a half to inform me that they only had 3! The manager said I can receive a full refund or take the 3 jets! It was my niece birthday so her and friends wanted to ride so we took the 3 and got refunded for the other 3. The instructor was rude and unprofessional so my nieces did not enjoy their first jet ski experience. I called the manager to inform him what happened, he stated he would speak with the instructor then call me back. Instead he had the instructor to call me back and the instructor was being rude to me arguing back and forth! I called the manager back and ask him why is the instructor calling me back instead on him. He stated he wanted the instructor to resolve it with me like he’s the manager! The jet was set for 30 minutes but we were about 8 minutes late! Which the instructor lied and said we were 30 minutes late!! The manager did state he would give us more time being that they couldn’t provide the other 3 jets! The instructor was so rude he only let them ride for exactly 10 minutes the entire time because he was so ready to pack up. Then I asked for a full refund being that we didn’t get extra time the instructor was rude and my nieces did not enjoy the experience! The manager stated he can give $25 back and they only rode for 10 minutes. While they were on the jets the instructor was recording one of my nieces and my other nieces asked him why was he recording only her bottom which is her behind (booty) and he did not say anything!! This company charged us double for a service that was only for 1 hour. We were forced to use a single jet ski, unaware that we were being charged for two. The website's verbiage is completely inaccurate and does not properly explain what the business plans to charge you for. You’d think the instructor would explain these things to you. The first jet ski ran out of gas, and the second one had seaweed in it. Instead of charging us for one jet ski with two people, they charged us for two jet skis. We only used one and were never told we had the option to use two separate ones.
The part-owner, Kesahn Artis, had a terrible attitude towards paying customers and treated us poorly when we voiced our frustrations about being charged double the next day. We have screenshots, emails, and recordings to support our claims. He refused to refund half of our money for a service we did not fully use, which was supposed to be for 2 hours. We are now in the process of pursuing legal action. I love supporting small businesses, but the customer service experience with Artis Rentals was disappointing, to say the least. When I called I received EXCELLENT customer service, ALL my questions were answered with kindness, patience, and respect. When we made it to the dock for jet skiing the guy that met up with us was also extremely kind, patient and helpful. He allowed my family to have a great time (they had the time of their lives) without being uptight.
