Universal Gift Shop — Local services in Orlando

I enjoyed this gift shop a lot, I just wish that there were more practical items. Still, if you forget to pack something, they might have it: there were bathing suits, clothes, hats, sunscreen, deodorant, chocolate bars... Other than that, they sell themed stuff that is sold in the parks (obviously not everything), but it was convenient since you could buy things directly from the hotel instead of carrying it around with you if you bought it in the parks. I also did buy a couple of things that I wasn't sure if I wanted when visiting the parks, and in the end I changed my mind and could purchase it even though I couldn't go back to the parks on our last day. Nice Harry Potter section too, it was pretty big (their largest themed section)....

Yesterday we were denied a refund from a purchase we made in parks that morning (with the reciept). The manager was short with us and barely apologize for the inconvience. We contacted merch services and they said the refund should have been given. We were instructed to go to the universal gift shop in city walk and the items were refunded without hesitation. The resort gift shops are suppose to help purchases from the parks. Seems like the manager just didnt...

Another obligatory shop inside Universal's resort is the Universal Store.

They have the most commonly sold merch for the parks and items that you might have forgotten to pack. I've found out the hard way they don't sell big spray. I'm a magnet for mosquitoes, if they are near me then they will find me. They don't sell big spray at the shop but oddly they do sell an itch...
