A very unique shopping experience if you've never been.
Carts are $0.25 to "rent." You'll get your quarter back if you just return the cart to the storage area, which everyone should do anyway. There are no cart corrals besides the one by the main entrance because the parking lot is quite small.
You should be sure to bring your own bags, reusable or otherwise. The bags here are not free. You'll also have to bag your own items, the lines move very quickly here. All the items in the store have barcodes on all sides, allowing the chashiers to ring you up very quickly. Afterwards there will be a small counter by the windows where you can take a minute to bag up your items if you wish.
The prices are great here. Everything is reasonably priced and a lot of the stuff is cheaper than at most competitors. They have all the usual sections: fresh produce, meat, dairy, dried foods, canned foods, frozen food, and more. Odds are if you're looking for something basic they'll have it here. It's worth stopping by before you go to a larger store with a bigger selection since you'll save a bit of money and can get any items you couldn't find...
Read moreNot entirely sure why people are complaining about the very minimal quick moving lines here. The associates have always been very friendly and I’ve never had an issue with the organisation of the store. Aldi is typically where I shop to get most of my groceries even though there are just a few things that I have to shop elsewhere to get. I don’t mind that , though considering just about everything in the store is at least $1 less than meijer or Walmart (if you think aldi lines are bad, go to the Walmart down the street at rush hour when they close all the self check outs. I hope you like the sound of screaming kids.) For those of you wondering about needing a quarter for a cart- it saves the company money because they do not have to hire people specifically to be on cart duty, thus saving you money. Also I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to other retailers and had carts in a parking spot I’d like to use or had carts dent my car. It’s .25 that you get back when you put your cart away, not that bad. All in all thrilled that this location expanded and always impressed with the people here and the...
Read moreI have been an Aldi's devotee for years. Now, not so much. I'm well aware of the difficulties store owners face with supply chain issues and rising inflation. However, I feel lucky if I get out of there with one item on my list. And we are not talking about exotic items. The last two times I have been there the ONLY yogurt available was honey vanilla Greek yogurt. Seriously? Maybe once, but twice?
And clearly, like so many businesses, staff shortages continue to negatively impact basic operations. But to literally have pallets upon pallets blocking aisles so that only one cart can go in One direction?
The great savings on basics like eggs and milk are still in place. However, if I always have to go to another grocery store to finish a shopping trip of six items, it's just not...
