Walked in to place an order to go. Stood there for several minutes before someone begrudgingly walked up to the register and finally helped me. Without a greeting and a half hearted apology, the young man behind the counter was obviously bothed that he had to deal with taking my order. He was rude, insincere and impatient. I waited a reasonable time for my order while it was being prepared, nothing outlandish, but I was ready to leave this rude place. When I got home I discovered that there was a missing item from my order. I should have checked before I left, but like I said, it was an unfriendly environment. I called the restaurant and spoke with a surprisingly very nice and extremely pleasant man named Josh. I politely explained that my order was missing something, he wholeheartedly apologized and made it right. My boyfriend went to pick up the missing item and Josh had thrown in several treats for our trouble. So for the gentleman behind the counter that finally acknowledged my presence, you deserve zero stars. Pleas learn some basic manners and people skills. Kindness goes a long way. Josh, you deserve 5+ stars. Thank you so much for being so kind from the moment you answered the phone. I appreciate what you did for us. Now the food, that alone deserves 10 stars! It was SO delicious! Well worth having to go back to pick up the missing item. However, nothing is worth thr rudeness behind the...
Read moreI love Panera, always have always will. But the professionalism at this location is horrible. I've been in here multiple times hearing the employees complaining about their job. Last night, I was here and ordered a simple mac n cheese with 40 minutes to close. I waited for it at the counter, and all I could hear was, "Seriously, a mac n cheese at this time of night?"It's always the college students," "so annoying," "This happens all the time." All while I was standing in front of them. Sorry that I ordered food from a restaurant that was open and wasn't closing for at least a half hour. I worked in the restaurant business for a while, but nobody would ever dare to complain in front of customers. But here they do. I never felt offended by most restaurant employees, but when they were saying those things about me ordering a mac n cheese right in front of me, I wanted to cry. When I grabbed my order, I sarcastically said, "I'm not a college student, but thanks." and the manager who was complaining said,"You're welcome, " and I heard small laughter as I walked away. I eat Panera all the time but I won't be eating here anymore. Grow up and be professional. You shouldn't be working there if that's how you act in front...
Read moreVery prejudice GM Named Rick.
I ordered a bowl of chicken wild rice on 6/24/25 through rapid pick up. As soon as I opened the bowl, I went back into the store to let them know it was just broth & rice no chicken no carrots. When I met with the manager Rick he told me thats how they all come & proceeded to explain how they’re made. When I disclosed to him I eat the soup regularly so I know how it’s supposed to look, he told me its just how they are. I said thats fine then he asked if I still wanted it & said I guess I could get you another bowl. But at that point I wasn’t too happy about the interaction because I felt the general manager Rick was very rude & condescending. So I asked for a refund. He refunded but I later noticed he did not give me a full refund.
My total was $9 and today when I checked my account it looks like he only refunded me $8.49 which based in his attitude & lack of engagement I feel like he did on purpose. Now the cafe is saying they can’t provide me with the remaining refund unless I come in which sucks since I’m only at that location once a week as I live out of town. Very frustrating especially because all I wanted was soup & I ended up not getting it because of how I...
