#1 There were way too many customers for the number of workers. #2 Signing up for Internet was a hassle and the guy had lots of problems getting it setup. #3 The guy gave me a phone number to call if I have any problems. That phone number is "Restricted, or not setup." #4 I tried to setup an account online, but they do not recognize the email address I used to setup my service, nor do they recognize the phone number that I think my internet uses to get internet. #5 I tried paying my bill "As a Guest," but that doesn't work either since it can't find my account. It asks for an account number, but I was never given an account number. So, I can't even pay my bill! Do they not want my money?! This is all in addition to the many problems I had getting T-Mobile Internet started to begin with, not being able to do it online and them requiring sensitive information. EDIT: Found out later that the guy at this store did not setup my account properly. There was no email address on file. Also, something went wrong with my PIN setup. I think he was just trying to get me in and out as quick as possible. I had to call T-Mobile. I eventually connected with someone who could help me. It was an enormous ordeal finding out what hadn't been done and T-Mobile's app not working properly, tons of hoops to jump through etc. They really need to make this process for new customers way better. It is a terrible first impression. I'm not sure if I am going to keep T-Mobile Internet. The service is a little slower than I'm use to and this signing up ordeal has been an enormous failure for T-Mobile. Their only saving grace is that the other Internet options are enormous...
Read moreIf I could give them ZERO stars, I would. I wish I got the names of the people who I spoke to, but I was so upset I just walked out. I have been there 3 times since I moved to Oviedo from Altamonte Springs and each time I went there the people who assisted me were RUDE, CONDESCENDING, AND MADE MINIMAL EFFORT to assist me. It's as if they were bothered that someone needed assistance instead of wanting to purchase something. Only person I can say that was very pleasant was a tall, young African American man who greeted me at the door with professionalism, warmth, and kindness. Unfortunately, he was in the middle of assisting another customer, so he was unable to assist me. The other 3 employees I dealt with (on separate visits) were dismissive, unmotivated to help, and truly showed that they did not want to be there helping people. One was a Hispanic lady with an attitude, the other was a young man or lady, not sure because I really could not tell, but he or she or them or they had tattoos, glasses, black hair, and wore a face mask, the third was a short young lady with dirty blonde to light brown hair who gave off lazy, don't want to be bothered vibes. Those three seriously need to look for another profession because dealing with the public is NOT it!
Ended up calling T-Mobile on separate occasions and the reps I received were AWESOME!!! Wish I were back in Altamonte Springs because the people that worked in that store were also awesome and really did their best to assist their customers. GO TO ANOTHER T-MOBILE STORE. DO NOT GO TO THE OVIEDO STORE ON RED BUG...
Read moreI went to this location to pick up an upgraded phone from an online order my husband and I entered the night before. This is a story that you can't make up. I had an old Apple phone that I was using in an emergency because my L2 died on me. When I left in a hurry, I left the charger, and my back up, portable charger at home so my phone died and I couldn't find the location because I didn't have access to use maps again !!! okay, so I found the store and went in. So, I was flustered, needless to say. When I walked in I was greeted by Mr. Mario Williams with a great smile and super engaging welcome. Because I had my old cell phone with no power, I couldn't pull up my order on my email. This didn't fluster Mr. Williams and he didn't make me feel inadequate or lame. He found a place to plug up my phone and even brought a stool for me to sit on while I charged!!! It gets better... once my phone had the bare minimum charge and I pulled up the order, I found out it was done incorrectly. I was a little flustered but Mr. Williams was there to let me know what we could do to correct it. My husband was the account holder so I had to call him on the phone and Mr. Williams patiently explained everything to my husband and figured out a way we could correct the problem. All with such a positive, problem-solving attitude. It has been a long, long, long, long time since I have had such a positive retail experience and I just wanted to let you know.
