D’Amicos & Sons is the absolute best Italian market and bakery you will find in Central Florida. As someone who grew up in an Italian household and lived near the Northend of Boston, based on the numerous Italian places I’ve frequented, I believe I am qualified to give this place a 5-star review. Finally, I don’t have to wait to go back to Boston in the summer to get a top quality cannoli or Italian pastries. And the lobster tail is honesty up there with the best I’ve had anywhere.
The deli is fantastic and they have a family favorite, procuitto di Parma, which they even know exactly how to slice and package to perfection (no other place I’ve been to around here does it right). Their hot food is equally amazing with a wide selection of options including subs, calzones, pizza, and the rare menu item around here - arancini (rice balls) in a variety of choices (original, cheese, steak & cheese, ect.). They are very good and very close to what we had growing up. Their sauces are also the best around, if you need a sauce for pasta, breadsticks, meatballs, chicken parm, or really anything DO NOT buy the jar sauce at the grocery store and come pick up the sauce containers they have at D’Amicos.
Oh, and the coffee bar. My wife and I are daily coffee drinkers and we’ve tried macchiatos from many, many coffee shops. None come anywhere close to the ones at D’Amicos. All of the baristas do a great job. Special compliments to Kreaston, who makes our coffee most of times we visit. I swear you will not find someone who makes a better macchiato. The creative, seasonal coffee flights are fun and delicious too. They have a great outdoor seating area, covered and plenty of space to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They even had some Italian soccer match events for the Euros, which we greatly appreciated. They created a fun atmosphere for Italian soccer fans to get together for a watch party. Let’s hope we get to do the same for the World Cup next year🙏🏼 🇮🇹 ⚽️
The family who owns D’Amicos are engaged with the market and customers and are very welcoming to both newcomers and regulars. I could go on forever about how good this place is, but I think you get that idea. Such a fantastic addition to Oviedo. We are so glad they are so...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of attending Pasta Night, hosted by Oviedo High School’s NJROTC unit, and I must take a moment to commend D’Amico and Sons for their generous spaghetti donation. Their contribution truly elevated the event and showcased their commitment to the community.
From the moment the spaghetti was served, it was clear that D’Amico and Sons takes great pride in their culinary offerings. The pasta was perfectly cooked—al dente with just the right amount of bite. Each plate was generously topped with a rich, flavorful marinara sauce that struck a perfect balance between tangy and savory. The sauce had a homemade quality that made it evident it was crafted with care and quality ingredients.
What stood out even more was the attention to detail. The presentation of the spaghetti was inviting, and the aroma wafting through the venue was enough to make anyone’s mouth water. D’Amico and Sons thoughtful additions enhanced the experience and ensured that everyone could enjoy their meal just the way they liked it.
Beyond the delicious food, D’Amico and Sons demonstrated a remarkable spirit of community support. Their willingness to donate such a high-quality meal for a school event speaks volumes about their commitment to local initiatives and fostering goodwill. It’s evident that they care not just about their business, but also about the people they serve.
The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing how much they enjoyed the spaghetti and how it made the evening even more special. D’Amico and Sons has undoubtedly set a high standard for future events.
In conclusion, I extend my heartfelt thanks to D’Amico and Sons for their generous donation to Pasta Night. Their delicious spaghetti not only nourished our bodies but also brought our community together in a delightful way. If you haven’t yet experienced their offerings, I highly recommend you visit them—you won’t be...
Read moreThe 1st thing I did was to read why anyone would rate D'Amico's with a 1 star! After reading the review it was clear that the reviewer wanted the same Italian experience from their past & those days are gone. I feel I need to address prices!! I was astonished that the prices are so reasonable. Pastries, breads, groceries, meats, cheeses, everything was very reasonable. Yes, it is more expensive than a super market but we are dealing with a speciality store & I was thrilled that can easily afford D'Amico's. Now for the reason we are here. Pastry, outstanding, sausage (all varieties) fresh & tasty. For us traditionalists, the fennel sausage is out of the world. Mascapone cheese, fresh & plentiful. We are a family that looks forward to Christmas dessert including sfogliatelle (crisp pastry with just the right "bite") the stuffing was as traditional as I've ever had. Canolli's, again, outstanding pastry with an amazing, delightful cream inside. Lobster tails couldn't have been better; Baba's will take you back to the delightful memories of Christmas' past. A wonderful shopping experience & the only negative thing I can say is that we made friends with the people in line because there is a line. D'Amico's has been found & I'd order now if you are hoping for this Christmas serving. Merry Christmas all & a big thank you for a wonderful italian shopping experience! Must go get my...
