I rarely write reviews but I was highly disappointed by the quality of customer service demonstrated by this establishment. I came in here trying to sell some old gold (a 10k gold ring weighing 2.6 grams with the false stone in it and what was confirmed to be a fake gold cross) I found laying around the house and only came to this location because they were one of the few places open late. First time I’ve ever come here. Now I’m not sure if something happened earlier that day, if it had to do with the way I was dressed (hoodie), or if it was because I was the only one at the store at the time but the associate who “assisted” me was very condescending and dismissive. I gave my pieces to “Paul” and notified him that I wasn’t sure about the authenticity of certain aspects which he proceeded to inspect. I try and inform him that the good piece I have weighs about 2 and half grams to which he quickly interrupts and states that “we use penny weight”. Being a term/phrase I’m not familiar with I ask “Paul” if he can explain the difference to me and his response is “well which one do you think would be more accurate?” Kind of taking back by his response I inform him that this is not something I deal with on a daily nor am too familiar with, so if he could, please break it down for me. He pulls up the paper regarding the weight(s), shows it to me, weighs the ring, and then proceeds to make me a 12 dollar offer. I ask him why so low and instead of trying to help me understand why he places the ring back on the display glass as if attempting to dismiss me. Coincidentally, I managed to locate another jewelry store opened late which actually ended up offering me slightly more than the aforementioned establishment. Moral of the story? I visited Precious Fine Jewelers & Gold Buyers last weekend with my boyfriend to inquire about repair options. Unfortunately, we were met with the most disrespectful and condescending attitude from the sales representative. From the moment we started asking questions about the potential causes of the water damage and the process for ordering parts, her demeanor was appalling.

As we sought more details, her attitude only worsened. She was visibly annoyed by our inquiries and even had the audacity to exclaim, "Why was everyone starting to show up all at once right before closing hours?" This was shouted loudly in the store, showing complete disregard for professionalism and customer service. Her irritation at having to do her job was blatant and unapologetic.

Ultimately, we felt so uncomfortable and disrespected that we demanded our items back and canceled everything. I urge potential customers to reconsider dealing with this store, especially if this same representative is involved. The level of unprofessionalism and rudeness we experienced is entirely unacceptable. Management should review their security footage for further proof of this encounter.
