Probably the worst Target I've ever been to. The moment we walked in, a baby was crying. The baby cried for our entire 30 minute shopping experience. You could hear it across the store, end to end ( the baby was in the food court, we were near/in the fitting rooms). Not Target's fault, but they could have checked to see if the baby was okay or done something to calm the atmosphere. The sound was disturbing several people, making it uncomfortable and unpleasant.
The attendant of the changing room was less than pleasant and looked befuddled when she was handed items we chose not to purchase. Apparently this was too much for her. My girlfriend ended up just placing the items on the counter, hoping someone at Target will know how to put items back on hangers.
As we browsed the refreshments in the grocery section, an employee kicked my girlfriend’s ankle, said sorry, and ran off before assessing if she was okay. She now has a giant red area on her ankle which is sore. When we found the refreshments we were looking for, there were ants crawling all over the product. Seriously gross!!!
When I went to purchase our items, I went to the checkout aisle of Floria. She was less than helpful, spending an inordinate amount of time talking with the customer ahead of me, holding me up. My purchase was simple, a pair of leggings for my girlfriend and beer. During my purchase, Floria could not read my ID. I had to verbalize my birthdate, because she had so much trouble reading it. It would be one thing if my ID was faded, scuffed, bleached by the sun, or dirty. But it’s not. It’s barely three years old, clean, and easily readable. Anybody who can’t read a driver’s license, shouldn’t be selling beer or cigarettes. Floria bagged the pants, but didn't even move the beer. She placed the leggings in a bag at the end of her checkout register and left the beer on the conveyor belt. She literally put in the minimal effort. Apparently here, you have to collect your purchased items in more than one place, like a treasure hunt, instead of having them placed together like everywhere else people shop. Pure laziness. It was rather awkward and inconvenient as she made no effort to placing my items together.
After our fiasco of shopping at Target, my girlfriend called the manager. She was less than helpful, speaking really slowly and without care or concern. She made not even a half-hearted apology and stated "there is nothing we can do."
I called back, and asked for her name. She said "Jennifer". I asked her for her full name again, telling her I would be contacting corporate office. She said "Jennifer". I had to go so far as to explain what a "full name" is, as she failed to grasp a concept we all learned as children. She finally said, "Jennifer Pierre". So, after experiencing an uncomfortable atmosphere, unpleasant and unprofessional staff, unsanitary conditions for the keeping of products and a staff that does not care for the safety, well-being, and satisfaction of their shopping customers, we will no longer be shopping at Target. If these are the people they are going to employ, they are not worth our...
Read moreI’ve lost count of how many times my Target pickup orders have been messed up at this location. It’s frustrating that what is supposed to be a convenience ends up being a hassle almost every time. Orders have been lost, my bags have been given to someone else, and I’ve even received other people’s orders.
Most recently, I went to pick up an order and half of it was missing. After waiting a while, the team member claimed he forgot the bag, but it was obvious he had to go back inside and grab all the missing items from the shelves again. The items came out in a new Target bag with no order label, so it clearly was not just a forgotten bag. It looks like the order was either never packed, lost, or given to someone else.
This used to be one of the best Targets around, and now I honestly dread having to go. Even the restrooms are consistently filthy. And when an order is wrong, all you get is a quick sorry and they walk away. No effort to double-check or make things right. I had to ask the employee to wait while I checked the bags myself.
There is no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, no effort to fix things beyond the bare minimum, and no real customer service. On top of that, when you try to call guest services or the order pickup desk at this particular location, no one ever answers. At this point, you are probably better off going inside and shopping yourself than relying on...
Read moreWe purchased $250.00 worth of gift cards (Roblox, Outback, Carrabas, etc) for Christmas gifts on the night of 12/23. The cashier never handed them to us or put them in our cart at check out. We went home without the gift cards we bought. My husband returned 20 mins later when we realized we didn't have the gift cards. They were closed so he knocked on the doors. The night crew screamed through the glass " WE'RE CLOSED!!!" and refused to help. We had to call the police to get them to listen to my husband. They still refused to help us and told us to come back the next morning. I returned to the store around 8am the next morning and explained the situation to Shirley the manager on duty. She seemed helpful and advised me she would forward my issue to Ryan in Asset Protection. She said he would check the security cameras to find out what happened to our gift cards and that they woudl follow up with me on Monday. I came back on Monday and had to re-explain the situation. I was agian told that Ryan would check teh security cameras and tehy woudl call me back same day. I haven't heard from anyone. I try to call guest services and no one ever picks up the phone. . I need someone to care...
